Spy x Family was the breakout series of the spring 2022 anime season. It's a shonen series that tells a heartwarming yet hilarious tale about a makeshift family consisting of a master spy, a secret assassin, and a young telepath.

Spy x Family follows Twilight, or Loid Forger, as he initiates Operation Strix to infiltrate an elite school and take down a powerful politician. He needed to adopt a kid and get married to make the plan work, hence where the mind-reading Anya and Thorn Princess Yor come in. The series shares famous voice actors with other beloved anime series.

Becky Blackbell was Anya's first friend at Eden Academy. She doesn't think too highly of Damian and even mocks kids who choose to befriend him because of his dad's social status. Becky's always quick to defend Anya from Damian's bullying and has come through for the series' fan-favorite telepath on several different occasions.

Becky is voiced by Emiri Kato, also known for her roles in Black Butler, Soul Eater, and Overwatch. She voiced Mey-Rin in Black Butler, Blair in Soul Eater, and Tracer in Overwatch.

Henry Henderson is one of the higher-ups at Eden Academy. He's a history teacher and housemaster for dormitory three. Henry has an eye for elegance, but not in the aesthetic sense. Henry will consider someone elegant if they carry themselves well and handle adversity gracefully. He's just as quick to praise it as he is to correct a student's undesired behavior.

Henry is voiced by Kazuhiro Tamaji, also known for his roles in Attack On Titan and Psycho-Pass. In Attack On Titan, he voiced the gunslinging badass Kenny Ackerman. In Psycho-Pass, he voiced Jouji, a psychology expert.

6/8 Kensho Ono Voices Yuri Briar

Yuri Briar is Yor's brother. He works at the State Security Service, but keeps it a secret from his family and pretends to work at the foreign ministry. He takes his job a little too seriously and gets suspicious about anyone who even breathes in Yor's direction. It's also well-known that Yuri couldn't handle his liquor if his life depended on it.

Kensho Ono voices Yuri in Spy x Family, but he's also voiced important roles in Bungou Stray Dogs and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. In Bungou Stray Dogs, Kensho voiced the coldhearted mafioso Ryunosuke Akutagawa. In JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, he was the voice of Golden Wind's protagonist and OG Gang-Star, Giorno Giovanna.

Damian Desmond is Donovan Desmond's second son. Anya must get close to Damian for Loid's Operation Strix to work. He's a typical spoiled rich brat used to everything getting handed to him, but that changes after Anya puts him in his place and humiliates him in front of the school after decking him. It's heavily implied that he has a crush on Anya.

Natsumi Fujiwara did a great job capturing Damian's personality. She's also voiced younger versions of characters in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and Fruits Basket. She voiced a young Giorno Giovanna during Golden Wind. In Fruits Basket, she was the voice behind Ayame Sohma's younger self.

4/8 Hiroyuki Yoshino Voices Franky Franklin

Franky Franklin is a spy informant, but he works at a corner tobacco shop as a cover. Without his help, Operation Strix would have fallen apart ages ago. Franky always comes in clutch for Loid and became one of his most valuable allies. Franky may be a great informant, but he's totally blind when it comes to love.

Hiroyuki Yoshino is the voice behind Franky Franklin. He's also the voice of the bombastic hero Present Mic in My Hero Academia. He also voiced Aoba Johsai's Hajime Iwaizumi in Haikyuu!.

Yor Forger joined Loid's makeshift family to keep her true identity a secret and avoid suspicion. Yor's a clerk at the Berlint City Hall by day, but she becomes the killer Thorn Princess by night.

Saori Hayami is the voice behind Yor in Spy x Family. Still, fans instantly recognized her from her important roles in Genshin Impact, My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU, and Demon Slayer. In Genshin, Saori is the voice behind the ice princess Ayaka Kamisato. In My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU, she's the tsundere Yukino Yukinoshita. In Demon Slayer, she voices the Insect Hashira, Shinobu Kocho.

Loid Forger, or Twilight, is a spy who gave up everything for the sake of helping his country. Tasked with Operation Strix, Loid had to create a family and enroll his child into Eden Academy to take down Donovan Desmond. Loid is a master of deception, but he is also a surprisingly great father to Anya.

Takuya Eguchi is the voice behind Spy x Family's protagonist, but he's played important roles in other series. In Tokyo Revengers, he's the voice of the vicious Hanma Shuji. He's also the voice behind My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU's protagonist, Hachiman Hikigaya. Takuya also voiced Akihiko from Given.

1/8 Atsumi Tanezaki Voices Anya Forger

Loid may be the protagonist of Spy x Family, but the general public fell in love with Anya. She's a telepathic young girl with a wild imagination and an uncanny obsession with Spy Wars. Anya's facial expressions have become viral memes, and fans joke that she could be Jujutsu Kaisen's Yuji Itadori's sibling.

Atsumi Tanezaki did a great job voicing Anya in Spy x Family. "Waku waku!" has become one of the most memorable lines from the series. Atsumi is also the voice behind Emporio from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Tome Kurata from Mob Psycho 100, and Black Pearl Cookie from Cookie Run: Kingdom.
