The Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ are the first mainstream Samsung Galaxy flagships with fast charging speeds higher than what we’ve been seeing on the company’s smartphones for nearly six years now, but exactly how much faster are the Note 10 duo when it comes to charging the battery on a wired connection?

Well, it turns out the rumors had been accurate: The Galaxy Note 10 supports 25W charging while the Note 10+ gets 45W charging. Like many other specs, the Galaxy Note 10+ is getting the upper hand as far as fast charging speeds are concerned. However, out of the box, both the Note 10 and Note 10+ will come with a 25W charger. The 45W charger will be a separate purchase, one that won’t really be necessary for most users as Samsung’s 25W charger is pretty quick at topping up even a 4,500 mAh battery (the Note 10+ has a 4,300 mAh battery).

Fast wireless charging speeds have received a boost as well. The Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ support 12W and 15W fast wireless charging respectively. Yes, the Plus mode is once again taking the lead: The Note 10+ will charge at the same speed wirelessly as older Galaxy flagships charge over a wired connection. However, the Note 10 shouldn’t be much slower, as it has a 3,500 mAh battery, nearly 1,000 mAh less than its plus-sized sibling.

S10 Lite: 6.7-inch screen, no headphone jack

The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite has a large 6.7-inch screen. This is useful if you regularly watch movies or play games. Keep in mind that this device doesn't fit in everyone's hand or pocket due to its large size. The selfie camera is integrated in an opening in the top of the screen. The cameras on the back can be found in a so-called camera island. The device doesn't have a headphone connection, so you'll need a wireless headphone or a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter to listen to music. The S10 Lite is available in black, white, and blue.

Due to the 6GB RAM and an Exynos 9810 processor, the Note 10 Lite is less powerful than the S10 Lite. You'll especially notice this difference when you use demanding apps such as Photoshop or games such as Fornite or PUGB. Just like the S10 Lite, the Note 10 Lite has 128GB of storage memory. With a memory card, you can expand the storage capacity of this device to 512GB. The Note 10 Lite also supports fast charging, but it's only 25 watts so it saves about fifteen minutes. The Note 10 Lite can't be charged wirelessly either.

S10 Lite: standard, wide angle, and macro lens

The Samsung S10 Lite has 3 cameras. In addition to a 48-megapixel standard lens, it also has a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens. Thanks to the wide viewing angle of this camera, you can capture large groups and buildings without problems. The S10 Lite also has a macro lens. With this camera, you can take sharp photos up close. You can come as close as 2.5 centimeters without blurring the photo.

The Note 10 Lite also has 3 cameras. Thanks to the standard, wide-angle, and telephoto lens, this camera is more complete than the camera of the S10 Lite. Despite it only having 12 megapixels, the standard camera of the Note 10 Lite is slightly better. Thanks to the larger aperture, this lens performs better in low light. The device also has a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens. With the latter, you can zoom in to create a depth of field effect for portrait photos, for example.

Differences with predecessors

S10 Lite vs S10: larger screen, lower-quality camera

The Samsung S10 Lite is a smaller version of the S10, but that doesn't mean that the device isn't as good. The S10 Lite has a 6.7-inch screen, which is a lot bigger than the 6.1-inch screen of the S10. In addition to the screen, the battery is also considerably larger (4500mAh versus 3400mAh). The S10, on the other hand, has better cameras, can be charged wirelessly, and has a headphone connector. The S10 Lite doesn't have that.

Note 10 Lite vs Note 10: larger screen, less powerful

The 6.7-inch Samsung Note 10 Lite is significantly bigger than the 6.3-inch Note 10. Not just the screen is bigger, but the battery of the Note 10 Lite is also larger.
