Does RAV4 Prime se have leather seats?

Just got my Prime SE back from the dealer today with the Katzkin leather seats installed front & rear. $1450. We’re very happy with it. The leather & red stitching are a perfect match to the rest of the factory interior finishes & colors. The fit is excellent, and we even gained a seatback pocket, both sides have one now. The only non-leather panels are a 4” kick panel at the bottom rear of the front seats, and the entire back portion of the rear seats - that’s all a black or gray carpet.

Ha, I didn’t realize ‘til I’d been driving a bit that they’d left the driver seat heater on. So I can confirm they work!

There’s also a zipper-looking seam at the rear outside corner of the front seats, visible on the driver seat in one of the photos above, which I believe is there to ensure the seat-mounted airbags remain fully functional. So it seems they’ve really thought all that out.

Looks great. May I ask which specific color of red stitching was used...there seems to be a couple of different red shades.

Sorry, no, not sure. My wife picked all that. Looking at the Katzkin site she thinks it’s “Black wrap, Cardinal contrast all stitch - VIS CODE: F1388-100”, which appears as the first option once you’ve selected a 2021 Rav4, but no guarantee that’s what we we actually ordered or got.

The dealer did one heck of a job on installation!

Yeah I couldn’t be happier, although they definitely farm it out, my guess is to the local Katzkin installer.

Did they replace the center console arm rest too?
Are the seats leather or Softex?

They put in real leather. I’m really not sure on the consoles - I think the front is original but they replaced the rear? So that all the original cloth is gone now.

Oh wow. Not bad. So they remove the existing cloth or put it over? I may consider this after a few years of use and abuse of the cloth by my 3 year old. lol

It’s reupholstery, the original cloth is removed.

Interesting. I really don't like the fake leather in the XSE, and am in the market for a SE anyway. The price mentioned above ($1450) seems quite reasonable.

Looks very nice. We considered leather for our SE.

We ended up getting seat cover for the bottom part of the bucket seats.

When I was a kid (I'm old), cars came with vinyl, and cloth was the upgrade. 50 years later, cars come with cloth, and now vinyl is the upgrade. Now called "leatherette" whatever that is! Booo!

Watching the Katzkin threads closely. If I could only figure out some color combo that would brighten the cabin a little. Would love whiteish seats....... Don't think I can pull it off in the dark R4P interior without changing a bunch of stuff..

Just had the Katzkins put into a new Prime SE. The dealer in the East Bay Area outsources this through a highly reputed installer (Coach Automotive Restyling).

Cost $2K including $400 extra for the two tone perforation. I couldn’t be happier with the quality and the look.

That looks really good, but I am happy with my toyota pleather. I am anxious to see how well/poorly it actually does over time.

I'm getting mine done tomorrow, I ordered the black stitching since I absolutely hate the color red. I'm thinking about buying a dashboard for a non prime and having it put in.

That and I asked the installer to cut the Katskinz tag off
