Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 level 80 to 90

Go to Guru’s house.
Nail will ask for help defending Guru’s house and collecting the Dragonballs. A farmer behind the hut also asks for items to grow his farm. note: Dragonball quests go from 1-7
Do all 7 Dragonball quests from Nail and he will invite you inside where Guru will increase your stats to 125.
Do all 7 Dragonball quests again...
Nail will permanently allow you to enter Guru’s hut.
Guru will increase your level to 85.(Guru will also have given you better Dragonball wishes)

After each Dragonball quest you must do 3 quests before you can defend Guru’s house and do the next quest.

Once you can enter Guru’s hut you may have to play a random quest before getting the notification that Guru will increase your level(i had to do this for 80-85,85-90..

Be level 90.
Make sure you are at God level status with Elder Kai and the placement tests.
Have Whis be your instructor.
Complete his Initiation tests
Take 2 Whis along with you while you do some PQ’s(i did PQ2 about 6-8 times with 2 Whis)
Talk to Whis and he will say you’ve grown stronger than the gods and give you SSGSS.

There is a guy behind the mixing hut that you can pay to level up now. 1-80 uses Zeni, 80-85 uses 20 TP medals, 85-90 - uses 40 TP medals.

If you are looking for quests to do in between defending Guru’s house quests, collect the dragonballs doing PQ23. After that run Sayamans last scrap collecting quest for easy quest and zeni.

I ended up using TP medals to go from 80-85, then 85-87 and used the Dragonballs to go from 87-90 using “I want to grow more!” wish.

How to reach lvl 85/lvl90??

My saiyan is at lvl 80. I read that you can reach lvl 85 and lvl 90. There are so much different information that I don't know what quest to do! lol

What is the proper way to reach lvl 85 and lvl 90? I need to go higher! lol

First you must have done Guru's side quests. Protecting his house about 7 times. Afterwards once you reach level 80 Guru will summon you and unlock your hidden potential. He will do this again at 85, 90, and 95.

Storywise Guru missions will unlock your "potential" allowing you to level up. Once you reach the highest level possible return to Guru and he will unlock the next "tier."

As for actually leveling, 40ton weights supersoul and power grinding Realm of the gods Goku/Vegeta is a valid strat until 70-72 and from that point you are better off wishing for levels (PQ 23 is wonderfulf or this), and if you've been keeping up with Guru missions you can also wish for 3 levels at a time(unless you are under 3 levels away from the cap, at such time you must wish for one until you hit the next tier).

Absolute max level is 99.

I'd say the great saiyaman missions are easier to do and get to than em 16 / 17. Good luck getting to those unless you use a ki blaster. The final saiyaman mission can be done in 30 seconds and gives 40k exp
When you reach lvl 81 just gather the dragon balls and wish to grow more, and use PQ 4 to get dragon balls. Using this way I've managed to get 6 characters to level 99

Wishing for "I want to grow more" from Shenron. As stated already, this can only be done by doing the Guru Time Rift.

How do I unlock level 90 cap in Xenoverse 2?

You will need to go back and raise the character that has completed Guru's House to the current max level for that account (to either 80, 85, 90, 95) before it will unlock the level caps for your alternate characters. The level cap increase will apply to all characters on your save file.
