It seems to go away after a little while. level 1 Is it when the Erdtrees leaves are falling? If so it's a slight power buff. level 2 Yep, only happens when the leaves are falling from the big golden tree. Should slightly increase the runes you get from killing enemies. level 2 How did you figure that out? I love this game but my god the lack of any way to identify the active buffs/debuffs for your character is maddening. level 2 Yea that’s crazy, I was like wtf did I pop an ember? Lol level 2 If it's a buff, the stats of your char don't change. Did a screenshot with and without that buff. All stats were exactly the same. What i noticed was, the item droprate could be boosted. Every time i had the buff it felt like 200 item discovery instead of 100, even tho it showed no change. level 1 Here I was searching all over for some kind of item or something lol level 1 Weirdly enough I have it on NPCs. It doesn't go away. Can’t find anything online. level 1 I've noticed it only happens when Erd tree leaves are falling like mentioned above, not exactly sure what it does though. level 1 As other people you do get it when the trees are falling but you also get it when you you defeat boses or entities that are are linked to the tree in a lore, for example killing the tree sentinel that scene at the beginning of the game will give you this golden aura. level 1 I think it happens when someone in your group defeats shardbearer or becomes elden lord etc. Not 100% sure but I got that message and then the aura immediately after.. The glow around your character appears only when the Erdtree’s leaves are falling. It will disappear on its own after a short while. What does the Erdtree do in Elden Ring?The Erdtree is a huge luminous tree that draws its power from the Elden Ring. It is the source and life of The Lands Between. It used to bestow a golden aura upon people representing its grace. Unfortunately, the Elden Ring, the source of the Erdtree’s power, has been shattered. As a result, the tree has lots its power. The inhabitants of The Lands Between have been exiled after losing the blessing of Grace that the Elden Ring granted them through the Erdtree. What does it mean when your character glows red Elden Ring?It signifies you as a follower of the Blood Lord. You can switch it off simply by going to Rennala and finding the relevant option. It should be called "Eye Change" or something like that, there will be an "On" and "Off" effect; switch it off. That would be awesome I would like my guys eyes to glow red.
