"Everything Everywhere All at Once" is now available to stream at home. The critically acclaimed, genre-bending movie presents a unique immigrant story that stands at the intersection of drama, sci-fi, comedy, and action. It costs $20 to buy or $6 to rent from digital retailers like Amazon, Apple TV, and Vudu.

The story follows Evelyn Wang (Michelle Yeoh), a no-nonsense Chinese immigrant who runs a struggling laundromat with her husband and adult daughter. In the midst of marital problems and an IRS audit, she suddenly finds herself at the center of a multiverse conflict that spans multiple realities. Evelyn must jump across dimensions to save the world and, more importantly, her family.

Is 'Everything Everywhere All at Once' worth watching?

"Everything Everywhere All at Once" received critical acclaim. On the review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, the film holds an impressive "95% Certified Fresh" rating based on 320 reviews from critics — and I couldn't agree more.

It's difficult to summarize the movie without giving too much away. It's a film of epic proportions that seeks to accomplish a lot — and it succeeds. The film deftly walks the line between tear-jerking family drama, immigrant story, multiverse adventure, absurdist comedy, and martial arts action, without straying from the plot.

After seeing the movie for the first time in theaters, I immediately booked another ticket to see it again. It's visually stunning, with practical effects that modern titles often forgo. The actors deliver compelling, emotional performances and heart-racing fight scenes, made all the more captivating because the performers do many of their own stunts.

Through Evelyn's story, the movie highlights the complexity of even the most unlikely of heroes. The film addresses every aspect of Evelyn's life, including her tense marriage, rebellious daughter, broken relationship with her father, hopes, and crushed dreams. And these relatable dynamics are all thrust into an exciting adventure that spans multiple universes full of creative twists and turns.

In other words, this movie is definitely worth watching. If you're a fan of action, sci-fi, drama, comedy, or all of the above, "Everything Everywhere All at Once" dares to push the boundaries of its many genres with a rollercoaster story that leaves a lasting impression.
