Goonies ice cream where to buy

The last year has taught us many hard lessons. That includes how sometimes, when the rain starts to fall, your actual friends won’t always be there for you. Not because they don’t care, but because they’re also stuck at home watching old TV shows. But you know what is always there for you? Ice cream. Ice cream is there for you whether your job’s a joke, you’re broke, or your love life’s DOA. Now Serendipity Brands is celebrating some of the titles that helped us survive the last twelve months with some original flavors. You can dig into ice creams inspired by Friends, The Goonies, Caddyshack, and A Christmas Story.

Serendipity Brands has announced a new partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products. (Which we first heard about at Delish.) Their four newest pints are perfect for sitting on the couch and enjoying a tasty treat while you stream your favorite classics.

That includes the company’s permanent new addition to its line-up, Friends Central Perk Almond Fudge ice cream. Both its name and coffee ice cream are nods to the group’s favorite hangout. But it’s the rest of the mix that would have Joey ready to ruin a date for a chance to try some. It features “decadent chocolate covered almonds and fudge swirls to create a mouthwatering mocha almond fudge ice cream.” It’s already available in select stores and at the company’s website (suggested $5.99 in stores, $7.99 online).

“Friends is a pop culture classic that we couldn’t be more thrilled to create a special flavor for! Our Central Perk Almond Fudge flavor is nostalgia in a pint that makes you feel like you’re with your six best friends indulging in a sweet treat at a coffee shop,” said Sal Pesce, president and COO of Serendipity Brands, in a press release.

Serendipity is also releasing three limited-edition flavors based on iconic movies. The Goonies Sloth and Chunk Rocky Rooooaad? features “chocolate marshmallow swirl ice cream with fudge covered almonds.” MUST HAVE. Fortunately it’s already available. It will soon be followed by Caddyshack Gopher Traxs, a vanilla ice cream with mini peanut butter cups and salty caramel swirl. As well as A Christmas Story Oh Fudge! Peppermint Cookie Fudge Sundae. (A mouthful unto itself.) It boasts mint ice cream with red and green candy and chocolate cookie swirl. We plan to put that in our letter to Santa.

These sound so good it might be the first time we’re glad our friends can’t come over to hang out. That way we don’t have to share.
