It’s Almost Time to Say Goodbye to ‘Grace and Frankie’ After 94 Episodes

Here’s to seven seasons of laughs and good vibes.

By De ElizabethMarch 22, 2022

It’s been seven seasons of laughs, tears and endless good vibes, but it’s almost time to say a final farewell to Grace and Frankie. The Emmy-winning Netflix series starring Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin will begin its final chapter when Season 7B debuts later this spring. With its remaining 12 episodes, Grace and Frankie will officially become the longest-running Netflix series, clocking in at 94 total episodes spanning seven years. The upcoming installment is a follow-up to the shorter Season 7A, which dropped in August 2021 unexpectedly as a surprise for fans.

Since 2015, viewers have gotten to know the lovable Grace (Fonda) and Frankie (Tomlin), who formed an unlikely bond after their husbands left them for each other. When we last saw the pair over the summer, they were still dealing with all that cash they found in the sofa at the end of Season 6 — not to mention those pesky FBI agents — so there’s bound to be plenty of drama and high jinks in store for the final episodes.

Of course, there’s also room for more friendship and bonding along the way — as evident in the new teaser poster for the upcoming season. We see Grace and Frankie sitting together in coordinating Adirondack chairs, looking out at the sunset with some casual mood enhancers in hand. We wouldn’t expect anything less.

“A history-making 94 episodes later, Grace and Frankie continue to show themselves, their families and their fans what it means to live life to the fullest, fearlessly and unapologetically,” the official synopsis reads. “Here’s to seven seasons of laughs, tears, mood enhancers and good vibes. And, as Grace and Frankie would say, ‘Fuck it.’ This may be their final chapter, but they’re just getting started.”

Grace and Frankie’s final season begins on April 29.
