Great Southwest Track and Field classic Results

Thursday, the first day will be the first half of the Boys Decathlon and the Girls

Heptathlon.

​

Friday will be the conclusion of the Decathlon & Heptathlon and more.

• That afternoon we will have competition in the Hammer Throw

• Later in evening there will be a two hour Practice Session on UNM’s Facilities.

• After the Practice Session we will close the track for four Special Events.

The Shuttle Hurdle Relay

2000 Meter Steeple Chase

4 x 200 Meter Relay

4 x 800 Meter Relay

Saturday will feature all Track & Field events starting mid-morning

​

Opening Ceremonies will separate the prelims and finals of the running events

Athletes from each state will parade their state flag for 200 Meters

National Anthem, Invocation and presentation of this year’s Honorary Referee

​

At Conclusion of the meet, presentations of the Special Awards for Male & Female will be awarded.

There will be a DJ Dance Party for Athletes Only at the Meet Headquarters

There will be a Coach’s Social at the Meet Headquarters
