Telling your partner you are pregnant can be a nerve-wracking experience for any woman.

However, when one TikToker decided to tell her boyfriend via text that she had just done a positive test, his response was so hilarious it surely put her worries at ease.

In a video, shared to the social media app by a woman named Hannah, known online as Hannahalexisgrace, she shares screenshots of a text exchange with her partner in which he mistakes the pregnancy test for a positive COVID test—and it has gained more than 14.9 million views.

The funny clip starts with text that explains: "Here's how telling my boyfriend I'm pregnant went."

She then shows her text telling her other half that she knows why she feels ill.

When he asks why she posts a picture of the pregnancy test.

The boyfriend then asks: "Are you joking me?" To which Hannah replies: "No I'm not. I'm literally shaking."

The confused man then responds by swearing and then asks: "Does anyone know?" Hannah tells him she has informed two people called "Liv and Loz."

"F**k F**k F**k," he types before telling her not to panic then adding: "Well we're both gunna have to isolate for 10 days. Do you reckon your mum has it?"

Realizing her boyfriends mistake, she asks "Wait. Do you know what that is... Charlie I'm pregnant."

"Omg [oh my god]," replies the Charlie.

The hilarious video, which can be watched here, has gained lots of traction online, having been liked by a staggering 1.8 million people and having surpassed 83,000 shares.

Many people also flooded the comments section with their thoughts on the humorous interaction.

One TikTok user, Chapmans, wrote: "Dude thought it was a Covid test."

Another person, Sophiejayne, added: "Omg [oh my god] I can't believe what I'm reading [laughing-face emoji] please tell me he was joking."

Laura typed: "This is the best [laughing-face emoji] [laughing-face emoji] 10 day isolation brilliant. Congrats to you both."

Nis gushed: "Hahahahahahah this actually made me laugh out LOUD."

Ohararei admitted: "I BURST OUT LAUGHING."

However, some people were more concerned with sharing their opinions on how Hannah delivered the news to her partner, with one TikToker, Jen, writing: "Y'all know you're young when you don't know the difference between a COVID test and a pregnancy test."

Nick agreed, advising: "Ladies, don't ever tell a guy this over text, this is something that needs to be done face to face."

Tara commented: "He thought it was a Covid test because telling someone they're going to be a father is not something that should be said through text."

To silence her critics Hannah rightly explained in the comments section: "I am carrying and growing this baby for 9 months, I will tell him how I want.

"If it was different circumstances that would have been told face to face, it was something that was completely unexpected and scary, so I text him [smiley-face emoji]."

Newsweek have contacted Hannahalexisgrace for comment.

We’re living in some weird times thanks to the COVID-19 Pandemic. So, weird in fact, that one man mistook his girlfriends pregnancy test for a COVID test.

Where once two lines on a stick meant the joyful cries of an adorable baby would soon fill your home and disturb your sleep, it may now mean that you’ll be suffering through COVID symptoms – neither are fun.

The hilarious video has gone viral on social media and has users crying sweet tears of laughter. The oblivious dad-to-be, aka Brandon Robert, posted his reaction to TikTok, stating in the caption: “This is the most embarrassing video ever taken of me.”

In the video, his girlfriend can be seen making her way to him while carrying a box, all giddy with excitement. However, as Brandon opens his eyes and the box, the excitement soon dissipates and turns to confusion.

“Dude, why would you come over?” Brandon can be heard saying in the video before continuing: “I’m going on a trip next week.”

The video ends with Brandon confidently revealing what he actually thought the test was: “You have Covid,” he can be heard saying.
