1. Shea Body Butter 

Ingredients: 

  • 2 tbsp raw organic shea butter 

  • 1 tbsp unrefined coconut oil (solid at room temperature) 

  • 2 tsp olive oil or castor oil 

  • 2 tsp beeswax 

  • Optional: 20 drops of your choice of essential oil (i.e. lavender, chamomile, geranium, and lemon) 

Directions: 

  • Slowly combine and melt all the ingredients, except essential oils, in a large size glass mason jar in a small pot of 2 cups of boiling water. 

  • Remove from heat and add essential oils. 

  • Pour into lukewarm small glass jars or a big glass container. 

  • Let cool for several hours or overnight. 

Pro-Tip: Speed up the cooling process and put it in the fridge! 

2. Pain Relief Body Butter 

Ingredients: 

  • 1/3 cup coconut oil 

  • 1/3 raw organic shea butter, cocoa butter or mango butter 

  • 1/3 beeswax 

  • 1 tbsp menthol crystals 

  • 10 drops peppermint essential oil 

  • 1/2 tsp arnica oil 

Directions: 

  • Slowly combine and melt all the ingredients, except essential oils and menthol crystals, in a large size glass mason jar in a small pot of 2 cups of boiling water. 

  • Remove from heat, add essential oils and menthol crystals. 

  • Pour into lukewarm small glass jars or a big glass container. 

  • Let cool for several hours or overnight. 

3. Bronzing Body Butter 

Ingredients: 

  • 1/2 cup brewed coffee 

  • 1/3 cup beeswax  

  • 1/4 cup raw organic shea butter 

  • 1 tbsp non-nano zinc oxide 

  • Optional: 10 drops bug repellent essential oils (i.e. cedarwood, cinnamon, citronella, lemon, eucalyptus, lavender, lemongrass, peppermint, sweet orange, and other citrus)

  • Optional: 1/2 tsp mineral makeup bronzer of your choice for that extra glow 

Directions: 

  • Slowly combine and melt all the ingredients, except essential oils and non-nano zinc oxide, in a large size glass mason jar in a small pot of 2 cups of boiling water. 

  • Remove from heat, add essential oils and non-nano zinc oxide. 

  • Pour into lukewarm small glass jars or a big glass container. 

  • Let cool for several hours or overnight. 

4. Sunscreen Body Butter 

Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup coconut oil 

  • 1 cup raw organic shea butter, cocoa butter, or mango butter (or a mix of all three equal to 1 cup) 

  • 1 cup beeswax  

  • 2 tbsp non-nano zinc oxide 

  • Optional: Vitamin E oil to preserve. 

  • Optional: A few drops of vanilla or essential oil for scent (do not use citrus oils!) 

Directions: 

  • Slowly combine and melt all the ingredients, except essential oils and zinc oxide, in a large size glass mason jar in a small pot of 2 cups of boiling water. 

  • Remove from heat, add essential oils and zinc oxide. 

  • Pour into lukewarm small glass jars or a big glass container. 

  • Let cool for several hours or overnight. 

5. Magnesium Body Butter 

Ingredients: 

  • 1/2 cup magnesium flakes + 3 tbsp of boiling water or 1/2 cup pre-made magnesium oil 

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil 

  • 2 tbsp emulsifying wax or beeswax  

  • 3 tbsp raw organic shea butter

Directions: 

  • Pour 3 tbsp of boiling water into the magnesium flakes in a small container and stir until it dissolves. It will create a thick liquid. Set aside to cool. 

  • Slowly combine and melt all the ingredients, except magnesium mixture, in a large size glass mason jar in a small pot of 2 cups of boiling water. 

  • Remove from heat, add magnesium mixture. 

  • Pour into lukewarm small glass jars or a big glass container. 

  • Let cool for several hours or overnight. 

6. Whipped Body Butter 

Ingredients: 

  • 1/2 cup raw organic shea butter 

  • 1/2 cup cocoa butter 

  • 1/2 cup coconut oil 

  • 1/2 cup light oil (like almond, jojoba, or olive) 

  • Optional: 10-30 drops of essential oils of choice

Directions: 

  • Slowly combine and melt all the ingredients, except essential oils, in a large size glass mason jar in a small pot of 2 cups of boiling water.
