How do you break the three seals in Genshin Impact?

The Tri-Seal is a barrier player will encounter in Genshin Impact. This guide will help players unlock it and collect all of their treasures. Genshin Impact has been a runaway success since its release, making over $100 million dollars within the first two days of its release. While it is a free-to-play game, players can invest their cash for the opportunity to roll for a higher value and more powerful playable characters. At the beginning of the game, Venti, a Wind-based hero, is one of the strongest and rarest characters to encounter. Players have easily put over $200 dollars to try and pull for this character. Although, there's so much more to the game than gambling for your favorite characters.

To get the Tri-Seal in Genshin Impact, players will need to visit three hilichurl encampments to bring down the magic barrier. The three locations aren't too far from one another; however, the game doesn't really tell players where these locations are. The three locations that players need to find all happen to be in the Dadaupa Gorge area. Getting the Tri-Seal is quite straightforward as it involves a few challenges and using elemental attacks on statues to bring down the barriers.

The Tri-Seal is part of a hidden quest located by Dadaupa Gorge. To begin this quest, players will need to speak to the blue exclamation point on the map, leading them to Dr. Livingstone. This character will explain the story of a Sword Cemetary with three seals that block a sacred treasure. She will mark the locations of each of the seals on the map. Here's how players can unlock each of the Tri Seals in the game.

How To Unlock The Tri-Seal in Genshin Impact

There are three seals for the Tri-Seal that players have to unlock individually. Here's what players need to do to unlock them. Each is triangulated around the Dadaupa Gorge text on the map.

• Tri Seal #1: Located directly north of the word "Gorge" on the map. This will lead the player to a battle arena where they need to defeat 10 enemies within the time lint. After completing the challenge, use Ice to unlock the first seal.
• Tri Seal #2: Located southeast of the first seal in a small lake. Defeat the enemies and a mini-boss at the lake then use an Electric Elemental to interact with the pedestal to open the second Tri-Seal.
• Tri Seal #3: Located west of the second seal. The player will need to defeat all three enemies then use the Fire Elemental to interact with the pedestal.

Now that all of the Tri Seals are opened, head to the Sword Cemetary to collect your prize, a Luxurious Chest. The chest yields pretty valuable loot for players to use for upgrades or buying in-game items. Opening the chest will also complete the Sword Cemetery Seal quest as well.

With things like bosses based on the game's Elements and little puzzles everywhere, players are bound to find numerous things that will occupy their time for hours on end. However, many players have discovered an area on the map that could be a little difficult to figure out: the Tri Seal in the Sword Cemetery of Dadaupa Gorge.

Exploring the Tri Seal in Genshin Impact

Players that have stumbled east of Mondstadt have likely found the Sword Cemetery of Dadaupa Gorge. More importantly, they've probably noticed a series of three Seals surrounding a single chest in the center of the area that don't dissipate when using an Anemo skill on them. Although finding a way to unlock these three Seals may seem daunting, it's actually quite easy, especially compared to the Seals found in Stormterror's Lair.

Clues from Dr. Livingstone

While players can begin attempting this quest right away, it might behoove them to talk to Dr. Livingstone, a nearby NPC that will give them a hint as to what they need to do. Dr. Livingstone explains that there are three Seal pedestals nearby that have been surrounded by different Hilichurl camps that the player will have to activate in order to get to the protected treasure. Before going any farther, it's worth noting that players will need the following types of Genshin Impact characters to activate the pedestals:

• A Cryo or ice character.
• An Electro or electric character.
• And a Pyro or fire character.

Unlocking the Tri Seal

By heading north from the Sword Cemetery, players will encounter the first Hilichurl camp. The Cryo pedestal is located on top of a wooden arena in the center of the camp, but activating it will be a small challenge. Players will need to defeat 10 enemies within a time limit before they will be allowed to use their Cryo powers on the pedestal and move on to the next camp.

After heading back south to the Cemetery, players will want to head southwest towards the Hilichurl camp that has a small pond. After slaying the nefarious hilichurls camped there, players can activate the 2nd Seal by using Electro on the pedestal.

Finally, the last Hilichurl camp and final key to the Tri Seal puzzle is located slightly southeast of the Sword Cemetery. Genshin Impact players will then need to repeat what they did at the Electro camp: wiping out the enemy and then using Pyro to dispel the 3rd and final Seal back in the graveyard. Players may then make their way back to where the Seals used to protect the lone chest, and open it to find some pretty nice loot inside.
