I'll just book Delta next time and save myself the trouble."

THen I asked for a pillow and blanket so I can support my head. I was told there was a fee for a pillow and blanket.??????? I said ok since I was looking for relief, and comfort. She came back saying she was sold out. WTF"

Cons: "The two women working at the check-in counter made me pay to check my carry on bag. I also had a backpack and a purse - as did the other 4 people I was traveling with but they did not have to pay for their carry ons and were asked if they wanted to check their bags for free since it was a full flight. Overall the customer service on both my departing and return flights was very poor. Won't be booking a flight with Sun Country again anytime soon. Would rather pay more money for Delta where I get better service and amenities."

Cons: "I arrived to the airport about 50 minutes prior to departure due to an unexpected delay. After a poor experience with the online check-in tool (it failed to allow us to check in & wouldn't let me purchase a checked bag), my girlfriend & I made it to the check-in desk about 40 minutes before departure (which has never been a problem with any other airline). The receptionists practically laughed at me when I asked to check in, and without missing a beat or even checking anything on the computer, they told me that the plane was already on the runway waiting to depart. We asked if they could help us book a make-up flight, and they practically laughed again and said, "Yeah, for next Sunday." I found this hard to believe that the plane was on the runway so early. The whole experience was very unpleasant, and we received little help from them. After a half-hour wait on the phone, I was offered a voucher for another Sun Country flight. Very dissatisfied with this. I appreciate the direct flight from MSP-SAV, as I don't think any other airline offers it. But I don't think I'll fly with Sun Country again."

Then the last was extremely rude to me and told me it was my fault and everyone else made it on time so why couldn't I, them when the second gate agent was going to put me on the new flight the ride lady told her to put me as standby, the agent inquired as to why and said there were open seats, she said do it, standby. And then smirked at me like she'd put me in my place. I was speechless, never delt with suncountry employee who was rude. Really disappointed with this experience"

We were fine with it, but after awhile he said that he found a couple seats together in the emergency exit aisle. It was great! We got on the plane and there were tons of extra seats, the plane was not full and I believe that he was too lazy to look for seats together upon our first request."

Cons: "Did not like that we couldn't print boarding passes from home. Had to check in at counter. On return trip, an overnight trip, we were told that there were no seats together so paid for exit row tickets. In flight there were plenty of seats empty. A passenger from somewhere else used ALL 3 of the exit rows seats in front of us to lay down and sleep. They did NOT pay for those seats. We did. No snacks offered. Calling Sun Country, the hold time was more than an hour."

Cons: "There were multiple rows of empty seats, so I moved in order to lay down and sleep. After I had fallen asleep I was shaken awake by a flight attendant telling me in a very rude tone I couldn't sleep there because I hadn't paid for the seats. I had obviously paid my air fare and the seats were vacant. I will never fly Sun Country again because of how I was treated by their flight attendants."

Cons: "The luggage fee is cheaper when paid on-line, but when I tried to pay on-line, an error message popped up. I ended up paying at the registered desk which is $10 more."

Pros: "Because of a delay, was given a voucher for food and also a voucher for travel at another time. Seats are clean and not so cramped you can't breath. Excellent landings."

Our flights were on time in both directions. I loved having the American Airlines app to get notifications to check in and alert me of gate changes.

Check-in was a nightmare. At least half the self-serve kiosks were out of printer paper so were out of service. It was chaos. No one was directing traffic, so you had to hope you were in the right line. We finally got to a kiosk and checked in, and printed one bag tag for checked baggage. We were in line to drop off the checked bag, and the lady working that station just walked away and didn’t come back. After we waited a bit, another person in line went to ask at the nearby counter if the bag check person was coming back, and she wasn’t, so we had to find a new line and wait all over again. Once we got our bag dropped off and our tickets, the rest was easy. The security line went quickly, and the terminal was clean and nice. Our flight was great and the flight crew was excellent. I think if someone had kept up with the kiosk printers, a lot of the check-in headaches and stress would have been solved.

Cons: "This is the second American Airlines flight we have had in less than two months where there was an issue with the plane and multiple delays lasting hours. I understand delays happen, but we've had two late evening flights turn into red-eyes while traveling with one of our children. Will not be flying American Airlines again."

They treated me with derision and ridicule because my previous flight was with a different airline, an airline that is closely enough associated with American that they booked me on an American flight. It should have been possible to at least talk to someone that could address my situation but now I'm stuck with the likely loss of something important to me and a strong dislike of American airlines. I'm probably just salty because it happened yesterday though. I'll get over the jacket eventually and probably fly with American again. But I will always resent them."

Cons: "The trip is still ongoing 6 hours after it was to have been over and we still have a couple more hours to go. I understand that things happen, but most of the problems today seem to have been preventable. First, our plane in Lihue was delayed for over 3 hours because they could not get a working fuel truck to fill the plane. Three hours? This caused us to miss our connection in LA, although just barely. We had to wait onboard so that we could use the same gate that our outgoing plane was departing from. If we had just been sent to a different gate we. Oils have made our original flight. So, they put us on a flight to Chicago because there were no more flights to Minneapolis. Then, once in Chicago the incoming plane was delayed and we sat on the tarmac for 40 minutes before deplaning. Then after an hour delay we were told the crew was on the ground and we were boarded. Sat in the plane for another hour, then we’re told we were still waiting for crew members that were delayed so we deplaned again. Another 90 minutes past and we got back on the plane and sat for another 45 minutes. We are finally pulling away from the gate. Hallelujah!"

You might also want to add to your instructions how to disembark the plane, some individuals think their schedule is more important and rush up the isle in front of others who are trying to get their carry on luggage from the overhead compartment. Cons: "I find this fairly serious! All people were boarded on the plane In a timely manor. We were then informed that one flight attendant had not made to the flight and we were to wait until the flight attendant arrived. We waited over 20 minutes for the employee to arrive to work rather late. This put out over 200 people for one irresponsible employee. In my business that employee would of been fired unless there was a very serious reason. So a full plane of passengers were inconvienced as well as many people that were helping the passengers what maybe 300 + for one employee! Doesn't make sense!"

Pros: "I really like having the ability to upgrade to a more roomy seat the most. I am 6 foot 1in and leg room is so very important to me when i fly, it the difference between a good experience and a great experience. For just a few more dollars i was able to enjoy a great flight."

Cons: "I tried to standby for an earlier flight on a first class ticket but I was told that's almost impossible as people waiting for upgrades have priority over me, so they may be able to get me a seat but in Economy. So, AA has no problem having a First Class ticketed passenger traveling in Economy and ticketed Economy passengers flying in First Class. Well, I do have a problem with that and didn't stand for it."

Waiting at the gate, I was excited because one person didn't show and they were giving him a two minute wait time before I could board. During this wait time a woman passenger came over and said she had just been given a ticket change at the gate counter. The agent at the gate was furious because the flight was sold out and said the woman should not have received a ticket, but should have been placed on stand by. She went over and scolded the other agent for this mistake. Okay, so she should've been placed on STAND BY behind me in line. After the unprofessional arguing between the two agents, they both admitted it was a mistake and she should be second in line for stand by, BUT they did not honor this and placed her on the plane bumping me. Needless to say, I missed my connecting flight because of this and extremely inconvenienced my family and in addition had to pay an extra 75 dollars out of my pocket to keep my dogs at their kennel an extra night because I arrived home 5 hours after expected. I understand that flights end up getting delayed and the agents are doing the best they can to accommodate travelers, but admitting a mistake and not fixing it to make it right is unacceptable. I notified American Airlines of my situation and only received a form letter with enough miles to get me 1/8 of a flight. I don't even care about the miles because I don't plan to ever fly with them again, I want the money for the dog kennel I had to pay extra. I was visiting my husband who serves in the US Army causing separation from our family for long periods of time and this extra headache and expense due to the mistake of American Airlines was disheartening."

The flight was delayed 3 hours with little info given to the passengers

Everything was actually very good except for the fact that they delayed the flight 3 times for a total of 4 hours when the flight was supposed to be at 8:30pm. So that made for an extremely late landing (2.5 hour flight), and if we had the wrong rental car company, we would have missed our rental checkout time.
