How far is st tropez from paris

My husband, children (8 and 13) and I are vacationing inFrance in mid-June. I would be grateful for any feedback regarding the best way to get from Paris to Saint-Tropez. We will be in Saint-Tropez for 4 days before returning to Paris to fly home. We are considering taking the train to Toulon and either Uber-ing to Saint-Tropez or renting a car. Do we need a rental car in Saint-Tropez? After 7 very full days in other parts of the country, our intention is to lay on the beach and relax in Saint-Tropez!

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

You really should have acar in St Tropez.

It will cost a fortune just to get from Toulon to St Tropez....and you will need a car while there to get to the beach

You may like to consider another Riviera location which is more easily accessible thanSt Tropez and will not need a car. Even to get from the town of St Tropez to the beaches is 4km and will need a car.

Sandy Beaches: Cannes, Juan les Pins, Antibes., Villefranche

Pebble Beaches: Nice

All accessible by TGV train from Paris, but Villefranche will require a change in Nice to the local train for the 5 minute onward journey.

Fly from Paris to NCE non-stop on Air France or EasyJet in 1 1/2 hours. Then pick one of the sandy beach locations mentioned above. We liked St. Tropez, but it is very difficult to get to and IMO a bit small for 4 days...
