Soak the gel ball in water for at least 2 hours to maximize its size. Small gels can expand to 10 times their size. A 1-gallon bucket is ideal for hydrating a pack of 10,000 gels. Overnight soaking is recommended. But the way you call it ammo, I suspect and assume you’re in America. Therefor, it doesn’t matter for you, as long as it’s in a sealed container they’ll be fine for months. The blasters you have there aren’t powerful enough for shattering slightly weakened or warped gels. Whereas if I leave booms or ultra elites for a week, 1/5 shots will shatter, and more the longer I leave them grown. Don’t overgrow your gels though, take them out of the water at the recommended time (up to 4hrs, usually less). If you can, make them in batches and grow only slightly more than you need. They are non-toxic, environmentally friendly, water beads, which are also called jelly beads, water orbs, hydro orbs, polymer beads, and gel beads or Gel Balls. When the tiny hard plastic balls are placed in water, they can grow up to 200 times their size. Water crystal gel or water beads is a gel which contains a large amount of water.
