They delayed the flight hour by hour keeping us hopeful all day. Never fly with frontier. Book with kayak, but not for Frontier, unless blowing a whole day in the airport is your thing. They have ZERO loyalty to their customers and don't think for a second that they will accommodate you for the return value of the flight to book another flight the next day. They will refund the 3-month-in-advance cost of $160, but that $320 ticket the next day will be on you."

Cons: "Frontier charges extra for any and every little thing leaving you feeling ripped off by the end of your trip. On top of that, everyone on the fight was stuck on the plane for about an hour and a half after landing before we could get off the plane. It was awful. Everything was angry, stressed out and annoyed. At first there wasn't a gate available for us and the pilot had a hard time getting in contact with anyone who could tell him how long it would be or if connecting flights would be held for passengers stuck on the plane. Then even after a gate became available they then couldn't find anyone who was able to hook up the plane to the gate. It was unreal! By far the worst flying experience I've had yet."

After nearly an hour on the phone we were put on a flight the next day, which meant missed work, extra expense, and a huge hassle. Frontier comped one change fee, but not the other, and the next day we noticed that they did it again: boarded 50 min before the flight, closed the gate before departure time. Undoubtedly, others missed their flight as a result. All of this might have been tolerable had customer service been even the littlest bit professional or helpful. But nope. We will never use this carrier again."

It was at this point frontier emailed me a voucher, which I was fine with....but then getting my luggage (which you have to pay extra for to be checked in) was shredded entirely on its side, as if they had dragged it on its side. To start, Frontier does not include any carry-ons with the flight, so either we pay $70.00 round trip for a bag or we have to shove everything we want for our trip into a "personal bag". We checked in about 24 hours before the flight and realized only after we had already waited in line for security that we needed printed paper boarding passes rather than using our phones (like every other airline). Luckily, we didn't wait until the last minute to show up, so we could go back, re-check in, wait in line for security a second time, and make it to our gate. Once boarded, things turned even worse when we realized that the seats on this Airbus were nothing more than very thin plastic with a very small amount of cushion, making the metal folding chairs from my youth seem preferable. In addition, while planes are not necessarily known for being comfortable, even the small conveniences of other planes were missing. These seats had no entertainment devices, terribly positioned armrests, a tray table that would barely hold my iPhone, no option to recline at all, and so little room ahead of us that my knees were pushed against the seat ahead of me. I was offered some respite when the flight attendant said that the flight was completely boarded but there were some exit row seats available. We were told that the attendants would "be happy to move you to a seat with a little more leg room and would be happy to swipe your card for the $50.00 charge". Really? $50.00 for an upgrade to an exit row? Generally, any flight I have been on will give a free upgrade or two if these seats are vacant. Nobody is there anyway, so why not offer them to give a sense of friendliness to your customers? You are not making any money on those seats anyway. On a roughly four hour flight, there were drinks and snacks offered, but their special was 2 cans of soda and a snack (peanuts or trail mix) for 9.00. Water, soda, and all snacks were an extra charge... Bottom line, this was a terrible experience with a terrible airline. If I have anything to say about it, I will never fly with Frontier again."

And I got very upset when front desk lady told me that she will charge $45 for my carry-on baggage but charge $ 40 when I check in my baggage. The only difference is that Spirit will charge you little by little (for carry on, boarding pass, check-in, etc.), plus offering you a very uncomfortable seat (unadjustable)."

Pros: "The crew were great, especially the main attendant, he was hilarious. On our first flight, I was surprised to find that we were sitting in first class, which was awesome for my wiggly 9 year old and me."

Cons: "We were on the same plane from Seatac, WA to Detroit to Atlanta, to Orlando, so no longer than 15 minute layovers. This meant no time to eat at airports and no time to charge devices. Since there was no in flight movie and nowhere to plug in anything on the plane, my son was extremely bored and it was stressful for me to keep him busy for 10 hours! On top of that, there were no in flight snacks and the food was overpriced. Also, the baggage fee is insanely high."

Cons: "My arrival flight was dirty, I believe I contracted some kind of rash from the nasty seat, the crew almost tried to find a way to charge me for napkins while I was attempting to clean the seat, I had to pay $180 for one carry on each for my fiance and I RT, the return flight was delayed, back on time, then delayed 3x which caused us to miss an opportunity for a late check out from our hotel and we spent 4 unnecessary hours at the airport. I will never recommend Spirit or travel with them again."

Bad news, they do not support Apple wallet or electronic boarding pass. 4. You want to check your luggage or print your ticket at the counter? They are only available for 4 blocks of ~ two hours during the day (SEA). 5. Can't choose your seat unless you pay extra. I prefer to pay twice rather than fly on Spirit again."

Pros: "They upgraded me. The upgraded seat was very spacious. The staff was nice. Very punctual. Easy/fast to board and deplane because people don't have tons of bags. Overall, super easy and no frills, which I liked."

Already flustered they didn't speak very good English and after half hour, I was transferred to another person. That is when I got my answer. They charge for EVERYTHING and a healthy price. I will never fly with them again. Had to pay for luggage both ways, food and drink on plane, not to mention a boarding pass if not printed out before departure. When purchased the tickets, there was no information about this unless I researched the airline before purchase."
