Activation of a replacement SIM card only takes a few hours to activate. However, activation of a new service with a new number will be completed in 1 working day (In most cases the service will connect instantly and you'll simply need to insert the SIM into your device).

Yesterday recontract Starhub provide new SIM card and was activated immediately.
Old /existing SIM card was deactivated.
