I'm just wondering how long each of the DLC takes to complete (the ones that aren't incorporated in the main game as missions)!! I've been able to find that Leliana's Song and Witch Hunt take about 2 hours to beat but nothing on the others!! I'm guessing Awakening is pretty long considering it has its own strategy guide out plus its price is high!!

They're all (apparently) about 1 to 2 hours, if you don't skip any text. I only have Warden's Keep and The Stone Prisoner, so I can't vouch for those numbers. Here's a list from the Wiki (http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Downloadable_Content):

Warden's Keep: About 1 to 2 Hours
The Stone Prisoner: About 2 to 3 Hours
Return to Ostagar: About 1 to 2 hours
Darkspawn Chronicles: About 1 to 2 hours
Leliana's Song: About 2 to 3 hours
Golems of Whatever: About 1 to 2 hours
Witch Hunt: About 1 to 2.5 hours

Awakening took me about 18 1/2 hours. There were only a few quests I didn't complete.

I decided that i wanted to buy Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition, but i was wondering how long it took to complete? I would really like to play through the game as different races and so forth.

Taking the DLC into account, how long does it take if you play it on casual and is not skilled at RPGs?

I have been playing Origins for the last week, haven't touched any of the expansions yet, and I am 20 hours in being only have 30% completion of the story. I have been taking my time, though. I'm sure you could go a bit quicker than that if you wanted.

I guess I'll just say this... the game is huge. Expect to put down weeks on it, at least.

My first playthrough of vanilla Origins (did mostly everything) took me 60 hours.
My second playthrough of vanilla Origins took 35 hours.
Third playthrough took 30 hours.

Leliana's Song and Darkspawn Chronicles took me 3 hours.
I forgot to check the time on my Awakening playthrough, but I'm guessing it's 20-25 hours.
Haven't played Golems and Witch Hunt yet.

You will most likely complete multiple playthroughs, it doesn't do the game justice if you only play through it once.

That's what i thought, but i could always go back to it later on. :).

Thanks guys.

By the way TC, I strongly advise you not to play on Casual unless you're having a really tough time.
Challenge makes a game entertaining, and when there's nothing as satisfying as skillfully and tactically defeating enemies who outmatch and outnumber you.

Normal should be manageable even for the most inexperienced of players.

its a very very long game.
(assuming you do most everything)
Origins~60-80hours
Awakening(expansion)~10-15hours
DLC's~9-12hours
