How many episodes are left of The Walking Dead?Season 11 of The Walking Dead is officially made up of 24 episodes in total. At the time of writing [Monday, October 3rd 2022] there are only seven episodes left to go before the series finale brings the narrative to a close. The final season was actually split into three blocks containing eight instalments each, with the first bulk beginning to air back in August 2021. Although the season will bring the long-running series to a close, there is a handful of spinoff series on the way, Nerdist confirms. These include a Daryl spin-off, a six-episode anthology called Tales of the Walking Dead introducing new characters, a Negan and Maggie spin-off, and also a Rick and Michonne spin-off.
