How many reports to get banned on Apex Legends

I was just wondering how many times do you need to be reported to be banned. Someone reported me because I killed them a match and they sent me a message saying “wow you need to hack to win?” And I was wondering if there was a number of times to be reported to get banned. Or do they look at peoples matches to see if they hack or not? And do club reports work as well? My friend spammed report me on our club as a joke but I’m scared it will also count as a actual report.

That’s not really known information. We can hopefully assume they look at your account in someway to determine it’s a just ban. Doubt anything will happen as long as you weren’t actually hacking.

That’s good because I was scared that if someone reported someone because they were mad that they lost, the developers would just straight up ban someone with no evidence

Once is all it takes. Bans about cheating get manually reviewed, they're not automatic.
If you're not cheating, it doesn't matter how many times you get reported for it, you'll never get banned for it.

Well I’m glad that they manually look at it. I’m getting a little scared about my account being banned for “cheating” when all I was doing was playing the game and someone would get mad that they lost and report me.

I'd imagine some streamers get a ton of reports against them. It's not a big deal.

But

The fact they PM'd you directly is basically trolling. You could probably report them back. I don't know about Apex, but I've seen temp bans for that exact thing in other games.

So i was playing apex earlier, and i was wondering if i can get banned for saying stop whining, because my random team mate was being annoying, so would i get banned?

Srry for the late reply but only way you get banned is for something racial but other than that no unless your cheating there just really hard on cheaters most people just get banned for being reporting for cheating like I did recently apparently becuase I use paddles people think it’s cheating but I got my account back so no big deal

Bro i was playing since the start of game. Played for 240h+, spend some money and got banned for "Trading FIFA coins". Then i got information after contact with support it was for cheating XD. So EA is like "Sorry... For not giving a f*ck" And i never cheated in this game or any other. It was when there was cheaters peak at game. Duno if i will get my ACC back. And answering your question there shouldent be somethink like 100 reports = ban for cheating. But looking at EA... It is possible XD

Wait, so you got banned for trading FIFA coins?

I've been in Apex Legends since Season 1 and have seen lots of hackers/cheaters/genuine destroyer players to kill anyone they look at. EA do get reports for all these but they just ban everyone of them, including genuine players. So here is how I came to know this:

In Season 3 end, I managed to hit Diamond 4 along with some of my friends. In Season 4 we got our rewards respectively but one of my friend was pushing to Masters in Season 4, he hit Diamond 3 or 2 maybe and we were expecting to see him go Forward. He used gaming cafe to play Apex but later in March 2020 he got banned, me and my friends got shocked as we would never cheat or do anything that can get us banned. He tried few times to contact EA and appealed for ban removal but all his requests got denied each time. That friend and couple of others left Apex and won't play ever on origin again.

Few weeks before, me with one of my friend created new accounts to avoid skill based match-making and to play rank from Bronze to Plat, the reason was only to have some good time and avoid sweaty lobbies. I got my 20 kill and 3k damage badge and hit few 15+ kills games. My friend hit 2 games with 19 kills each and after trying hard he got his 20kill/4k badge.

But just after a week of creating our accounts we both got banned. We never cheated or hack or did anything that could ban us. We did appeal for ban removal but as expected EA denied it. Common EA games are made to have fun, there is not reason to sweat in a game.

I respect EA taking action against cheaters and trying to keep it clean but we deserve to know the data analysis or proof or any other reason that banned our account. Yes EA you keep our accounts banned but don't send your crappy email for ban notification, we need a full report that lead to our accounts to get banned.
