We are within an hour of where most of the Alligators in Florida are harvested each year. We are within minutes of the Polk Parkway and I-4 near the Lakeland International Airport off of Drane Field Road.

You can take a photo with your Alligator hanging from the ceiling!

That’s right! We have a weight scale that hangs from the ceiling in our loading bay. We can hang your trophy Alligator so that you can take a photo standing beside it. As a family that enjoys hunting as well, we understand how important it is to get a good picture of your trophy. It helps to tell the story when you can compare the size of your trophy with you standing beside it. Sometimes it is hard to describe how big a ten foot Alligator is, unless you have that Picture of you standing beside it as it towers over you.

We can prepare your skin for the taxidermist

If you are looking to have your skin cut a certain way for the taxidermist, you’ve come to the right place! There are a few different ways to cut the skin of the Alligator depending on what type of mount you are doing. Maybe you are just wanting to tan the hide to make leather, or maybe you want a full body mount for that trophy of a lifetime! We can expertly cut it for you however you need.

Procedures for bringing us your Alligator

During normal business hours someone will be here to help you unload and bring in your Alligator. Have an idea of what services you would like done to expedite the process. For all Alligators that are brought in after hours we will have a cooler ready for you to put your Alligator in until the following day. Please put your Alligator in the cooler and leave our copy of the harvest report form with your phone number ( it’s usually pink for the processor ). This is important: Make sure that your tag is in the last 6 inches of the tail of your Alligator or we will NOT be able to except your Alligator. This is important: Make sure that the harvest report form is completed and leave your phone number on the top of the harvest report form for us to contact you. Once we have unloaded your Alligator, we will be in touch with you on the next business day to confirm what you want done with your Alligator.

2022 Alligator Hunting Season Pricing

IMPORTANT: Alligators must be in good condition and in good health. Alligators that have not been taken care of or that are not in good health will be subject to price changes or rejection. Please bring cash if you are getting your Alligator processed or if you are buying meat. We do NOT accept credit or debit cards.

$10/ft.    7’11” – under

$15/ft.    8’0″-8’11”

$20/ft. 9’0″-9’11”

$25/ft. 10’0″- 10’11”

$30/ft. 11’0″-11’11”

$35/ft. 12’0″-12’11”

Process: We process your Alligator for a fee. You get your skin and white meat back. The skin will be cut to your specifications and will be fleshed and salted.

$25/ft. Regular cut, skin is fleshed and salted

$35/ft. Trophy cut, and trophy head cut; skin is fleshed and salted

All white meat returned will be an additional $2.50/lb.

Trade:

We keep meat, you keep “regular cut” hide fleshed and salted for Alligators 8’0″ and up – No charge

We keep meat, you keep “regular cut” hide fleshed and salted for Alligators 7’11” and down – $12.50/ft.

We keep meat, you keep “trophy cut” hide fleshed and salted – You pay half trophy cut price $17.50/ft.

We keep meat, you keep “trophy head cut” hide fleshed and salted – You pay half trophy cut price $17.50/ft.

We are not interested in keeping the skin so there are not any trades where we keep the skin, and you keep the meat. It is recommended that you sell your Alligator, and we will give you a special price for the meat and you can buy it by the pound.

How much are gators Worth in Florida?

The current prices for alligators are $20 per foot for a 9-foot or longer gator, $17 for 8 feet, $13-$15 for 7 feet and $13-$14 for 6 feet, according to local hunters and processors.

So, for example, a 10-foot gator might go for about $120 to $150. Only you know if that's worth it.

How much do alligator hides sell for?

A few decades ago, when the market was booming, Florida wild gator hides reportedly sold for up to $35 a linear foot. Now, trappers hope their skins might fetch $7 a foot if they're fortunate.
