Reviewed in the United States on June 13, 2020 I was looking for a raw natural honey because it’s healthier than most other sweeteners and helps with allergies (if produced in your area.) RAW honey is made close to where we live. The honey is natural so it has a layer of natural beeswax which you stir up. The beeswax is good for you, but there will be tiny pieces if you use it in teas. It doesn’t bother me. This honey does not taste like anything you get in the grocery store. It spreads well on toast and isn’t super sweet. Definitely a different texture from regular store bought honey. So if you want a healthy sweetener, definitely recommend. Reviewed in the United States on July 30, 2021 When traveling I purchased one jar of this honey and loved it. I can’t find it in stores where I live, so had to go online. One jar arrived leaking and interior seal was broken but outside plastic was not damaged. Honey itself looks different from store bought. It is not white and not creamy consistency. Who knows if it is the original honey that was exposed to air? I have my doubts and will not buy online again. I still have one jar that did not leak but contents look the same - yellowish and more translucent than the original. The flavor is nice and its awesome honey but I always seem to get a jar or two with the lid broken or the seal broken... Joined

Honey is sold by weight not volume. A 1 lb jar holds about 12 oz volume if I remember correctly Joined

A 32 oz. quart canning jar holds just under 3 lbs. of honey by "weight" filled to the rim. So your 16 oz. pint jar will hold just about 1 1/2 lbs. of honey by weight ... $7.50 Joined Dec 29, 2006 · 8,303 Posts

Honey is sold by weight not volume. A 1 lb jar holds about 12 oz volume if I remember correctly Not in Northeast AL. 99% of the local honey here is sold by the quart. Weight is completely irrelevant to the customer.

A quart of honey is almost exactly 3 pounds. I agree that honey in north Alabama is bought by the quart. Nobody here compares price/weight, it is always price/quart.
