AMAN TYLER PERRY

Perry found out he was going to be a father via Facetime. According to the star, his girlfriend at the time, Bekele, called him and held up a pregnancy stick, indicating that she was pregnant. Eventually, the pair welcomed their little boy on November 30, 2014.

A year later, the former appeared as a guest on "The Late Late Show" and revealed how he managed to maintain order at home, as Aman was learning how to walk. The producer made it known that he made a cage-like structure with toys for his son to keep him "baby proofed."

Being the only child of his successful parents, Aman enjoys proper guidance and has inherited a passion for several activities. Once, Perry opened up about his son's love for reading.

In an interview with Kelly and Ryan, the movie director admitted that at three years old, Aman was already a genius and enjoyed reading books. He also added:

"My son's so smart, right? I say, OK, I'm only reading three at night, and he goes get ten."

According to the "Tyler Perry's House of Payne" star, Aman's favorite artist was Bob Marley, and the kid also loved Halloween.

Apart from reading, Perry also relayed that Aman is growing to become a professor who loves to share exciting information with him. He explained that his son always gave information like:

In another post, he shared an image of his five-year-old self, sitting and giving out a subtle smile. The picture saw the happy little boy clad in a striped top paired with black pants. In the caption, Perry thanked his young self for not giving up and making it through the heartache.

PERRY'S FATHERHOOD EXPERIENCE

Perry was subjected to extreme verbal and physical abuse as a child; however, he has revealed that fathering Aman has been a source of continuous healing. During an interview, Perry recounted an experience with Aman which brought back childhood memories.

Perry recalled how he once overhead Aman berating his nanny on unpleasant terms. According to the actor, he called his son, sat down at eye-level with the child, and explained that Aman's actions were wrong.

Perry noted that in that moment of discipline, he realized that nobody ever spoke that way to him as a child. To Perry, the gift of fatherhood is the best, and he celebrates it with every chance he gets.

Two months after Arman was born, the father of one shared a post on Instagram, where he gushed about the peace his son brought him. Perry wrote that he had traveled the world trying to find the kind of peace he feels holding his son's arms.

Perry also celebrated himself as a father during the 2021 Father's Day celebration. Taking to Instagram, the director posted a video, where he showed the world the gifts he had bought Arman, including Meghan Markle's book, "The Bench."

Above all, Perry shares an unbreakable bond with Aman and encourages him to be who he is. According to the star, his son does not know who his father is and what he does.

Instead, he plays and enjoys the beautiful relationship they have. Even though Perry and Bekele split last year, they co-parent their son beautifully and will give him the best life.
