I was concerned about ordering a key fob online, but I just could not see myself paying the Chrysler dealer what they wanted to charge for one of theirs. So I did some research and selected this one. They had a lot more positive reviews than most of the others.

The problem is that often the programing on 3rd party key fobs does not work. The Chrysler service rep who programed mine said that it was about 50-50 from his experience. He reminded me that I still had to pay for the programing even if it did not work. I told him to give it a shot!

It was successful and all the buttons worked exactly as they are supposed to. They also cut the emergency key for me as well The total bill including tax was $72. I am very happy with the purchase and would highly recommend it.

I had a local automotive key tech come out and program and cut the key. $200 in the Seattle area, FWIW

Although I found nothing to differentiate it from the original in looks or feel, when the locksmith programmed it the car didn't recognize it by proximity. All the lock/unlock features worked properly, remote start even worked, but when I sat in the drivers seat with it in my pocket, the car told me to press the start button with the fob. It worked fine but the unit cost nearly $80 and it cost another $75 to get it programmed! The most expensive key I've ever had duplicated!

My local dealer didn’t feel spending $35K warranted 2 keys, so I was left to purchase a spare key on my own. I purchased this based on the reviews and am happy to report that this key exceeded all expectations! The dealer that programmed it said it was a factory board and they had no problems with it. Satisfied customer!!

It worked perfectly after having dealership program it. Was hoping it was a good legitimate key fob because of the information on the internet about the sale of some key fobs not able to be programmed. This one. No problem.

Purchased for my 2020 Chrysler Pacifica. Unfortunately these days, you must take this to the dealership to program. Cost $60 for the programming and to have the key cut. The dealership said they charge $140 for this product, plus the $60 to cut and program. And of course the state needs it taxes.

We were so happy to find this key fob for our new vehicle that only came with one key fob. Lesson learned, ask how many key fobs the vehicle has before purchasing it, I'd have insisted on an extra one being included in my purchase price but this key fob arrived very quickly and nicely packaged. A few key shops wouldn't program it for us so rather than keep calling around we just called the dealership and they had no problem programming it and we were in and out in under an hour. The key fob is the exact same key fob that came stock with the vehicle and works just the same. We couldn't be more pleased with the seller or the product.

Oh no! I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with your Chrysler key fob’s battery! The good news is that changing the battery is pretty easy–once you know how! First, you’ll need a CR2032 battery. Once you have that, here’s how to replace the battery in a Chrysler key fob:

press the small silver release button to eject the backup physical version of the key.
Place the front of the key in the gap that you just pulled it out of. Using the key like a crowbar, gently pry the two halves of the fob apart.
you should easily see where the battery is stored.
gently remove the old battery and insert the new one.
Then, just snap the two halves of the fob back together.
