How to deactivate pop up blocker on iphone

In the Safari app
on your Mac, choose , then click Websites.

Click Pop-up Windows on the left.
If you don’t see Pop-up Windows, be sure to scroll to the bottom of the list.
If there are websites listed below Configured Websites, and you want to change the settings for these sites (for example, they’re set to Allow, but you want to change them to Block), select each website, then click Remove.
If you don’t see Configured Websites, either you haven’t set pop-up blocking for any sites yet, or you’ve cleared the list.
Click the “When visiting other websites” pop-up menu, then choose one of the following:
- Allow: Pop-ups for the websites appear.
- Block and Notify: Pop-ups for the website don’t appear, but when you visit a website with blocked pop-ups, you can choose to show them by clicking the Show button
  in the Smart Search field.
- Block: Pop-ups for the websites don’t appear.

If you block pop-ups on a website, but you continue to see pop-ups on the website, you might have unwanted software on your Mac. See the Apple Support article About pop-up ads and windows in Safari.

By default, Google Chrome blocks pop-ups from automatically showing up on your screen. When a pop-up is blocked, the address bar will be marked Pop-up blocked

. You can also decide to allow pop-ups.

If you still get pop-ups after disabling them:

You may have previously subscribed to receive notifications from a site. You can block notifications if you don’t want any communications from a site to show up on your screen.
Your computer or phone may be infected by malware. Learn how to get rid of malware.

Turn pop-ups on or off

On your iPhone or iPad, open the Chrome app .
Tap More

Settings .
Tap Content Settings
Block Pop-ups.
Turn Block Pop-ups on or off.

Allow pop-ups for a specific site

Not all pop-ups are ads or spam. Some legitimate websites display web content in pop-up windows.

On your iPhone or iPad, open the Chrome app .
Go to a page where pop-ups are blocked.
At the bottom, under "Pop-ups blocked," tap Always show.

Fix issues with pop-ups

If you're on a page with a pop-up or dialog that won't go away, try these steps:

Turn on your phone's airplane mode.
Quit Google Chrome.
Close the tab with the bad pop-up or dialog box.

My site's popups are being blocked

Chrome blocks pop-ups that users might not find useful.

Is the pop-up blocker for Safari stopping pop-ups you actually need? You may need to enable pop-ups in your iPhone settings. Conversely, if you've been having trouble with pop-ups on your iPhone whenever you try to browse online, you're probably hoping for a way to block pop-ups on Safari. Luckily, your iPhone does have a way to disable pop-ups in Safari so that you don't have to deal with these annoying interruptions anymore, and if that's what you're looking for, feel free to skip directly to our directions on how to block pop-ups in Safari.

If you find that pop-ups you actually want are being blocked, you can allow pop-ups while you're using a particular website. You can simply turn off pop-up blocker on your iPhone while you browse that site and then switch it back on! To disable the pop-up blocker, follow these steps.

Open Settings.
Scroll down to Safari and tap it.
Scroll down under General until you find Block Pop-ups. If the toggle is green, tap the Block Pop-ups toggle to turn off pop-up blocker on Safari.

For one of Apple's simpler settings, Pop-up Blocker for iPhone can make quite a difference in your experience while browsing on Safari.

How to Block Pop-ups in Safari on Your iPhone

Let's get started learning how to turn on the Safari pop-up blocker on your iPhone so you can browse the web in peace.

Open Settings.
Scroll down to Safari and tap it.
Scroll down under General until you find Block Pop-ups. If the Block Pop-ups toggle is off, tap it to stop pop-ups.

There may still be a few sneaky pop-ups that get past this setting when it's enabled, but taking this step should drastically reduce the amount of pop-ups you encounter while browsing the web on your iPhone.
