Hello. Been a while with Xbox. How do I gift a game from one region to another? I tried changing my store to their regions store to gift it to them, but I'm then asked for an address in that region. Do I just have to send s gift card?

Just gift them the code from your region. And tell them to use a VPN. 90% of my games are from Argentina because they’re cheaper and I have a cousin who lives there so he gifts me the codes and I PayPal him. You only need a VPN to redeem. Then it’s playable like any other game

Make a new account, buy it on that account, give them that account . Only way unless you send them money direct with PayPal or something.

I figured. I just tried the gift card route and it too says it can only be redeemed in my region. What's the purpose of a gift option if it's so limited? I understand fraud/ theft concerns, but people have friends and family everywhere. I guess PayPal money it is.

   Hi, I believe two of the main reasons gift giving is restricted to within the same reason are because of price differences across global regions, and because of different regional laws regarding digital purchases such as refund policies. I'm not 100% certain,
   but I believe these are main factors in why gift giving is restricted by region and might be impossible to implement otherwise on the current Xbox One storefront.

   Your best bet is probably to try to arrange for them to gift you the corresponding funds using a service like PayPal as suggested above if possible, and then use the funds to purchase the bundle directly. Hope this helps!

   I haven't tried it myself but you could try to purchase it or a gift card from the Canada Microsoft site and then send him the code I believe you should be able to use your PayPal account to complete the order hope this helps

   if your friend is in a different region, he would have to try finding a code from a retailer that sells them for your region. Gifting through Xbox is region locked and Microsoft will not swap the code from a different region.
