Add comments and highlight textYou and others can add comments to text, objects, charts, and table cells. Comments are useful for making notes to yourself, asking questions of reviewers, conveying editorial suggestions, and so on. You can also highlight text and then comment on it. When you don’t want comments and highlights to be visible, you can hide them. When they’re showing, you can use the reviewing tools to read and edit them. Add a commentCommented text uses a color unique to the comment’s author. Objects and table cells with comments have a comment marker.

You can also choose an author color from the menu in the review toolbar when change tracking is on.Highlight textYou can highlight text and then add comments to it.
To remove the highlight, click the highlighted text, then click Delete in the comment. Note: If you need a highlight to appear in printed documents, then add a color behind the text. This type of highlighting isn’t tracked in the review toolbar. Show and hide comments
If change tracking is on and you hide comments, the review toolbar still appears, but comments aren’t included in the navigation.
