“Recently played with” is just one of these features that, as the name suggests, helps players find other people they’ve recently played the same game with. In this article, we’ll show you how to find people you’ve recently played with on Steam.

Desktop

Within the Steam desktop client, click Friends & Chat in the lower right corner.
Click the Add a friend icon to the right of Friends in the Friends window.
Back in the main Steam client, and in menu at the left, click Recently Played With.

The pane at the right will now show Steam profiles of the people you’ve recently played with, and the games you’ve played together.

Mobile

In the Steam mobile app, tap the Hamburger menu icon in the upper left corner and select Friends.
In the Friends screen that appears, tap the Your Friends dropdown and select Recently Played With.

Those you’ve recently played with, their Steam profiles, and they games you’ve played with them will now appear in a list.

With Apex Legends being one of the most popular new Battle Royale games on the market, there’s been a strong demand for a lot of features in the game. And since Apex Legends requires that you play with a squad in every match, when you’re playing with random people there are going to be times when you want to add recent players that you had a good experience with in the game.

The bad news is that there is no way to currently add recent players via the in-game menu system. However, if you’re willing to do a little good old fashioned writing on pen and paper or typing into a list on your pc, laptop, or phone, you can still manually add the names of the players that you have good matches with.

What you’ll need to do in Apex Legends is to keep track of the people you’re playing with by writing down their names at the beginning of the game. Whether that’s with pen and paper or on an electronic device, this is really the only way that you can add recent players and invite them to be your friend.

What you’ll want to do is go about the things the old fashioned way and use the Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, and Origin network features to add a friend manually. Right now this is the only way that you will be able to add a friend in Apex Legends as there is nothing in the game that displays recent players.

Hopefully Respawn gets the message from fans and implements something that we see in other games that allows players to send friend requests to recent players.

Go to the Friends menu..

Click Find Friend..

Type in their EA Public ID. You can also go to your Privacy Settings and change how players can search you by going to Allow users to search for me by and checking:.
