It's maybe late for such a post, as the game is now kind of old, but I just wanted to post a fine trick I used to get Godhead easily. I know a lot of you had or have trouble getting it. This trick works well for any items of the angel room pool. Show
Start a run with Isaac on normal. Get a "Joker" card. You can destroy skulls to make it spawn. When you get it, save your game (to do that, just exit game then go to 'sync' in the title screen and select 'upload'). Now, you just have to use your Joker card to be teleported either in a devil room or a angel room. If you land in a devil room, just reload your game (title screen -> sync -> download) and try again.
If you land in an angel room, you can use your D6 to reroll any item you may find there.

You can take black hearts and red chests in the Devil Room but if you take a devil deal, you won't see an angel room for the rest of that run. If you don't take a Devil Deal when it appears, you now have a 50% chance of getting an angel room next time you earn a god room. And I assuming you know that you earn the highest chance of getting god rooms by not taking red heart damage on an entire floor (it's highly unlikely they will show up otherwise). It sounds unbelievable that you haven't had a single one for a 100 runs though. Are you sure you never took a Devil Item during these runs? Most runs I do take at least one devil room item, but it seems like I've done enough runs where I didn't that I should have seen at least one angel room by now.... How do I get Angel Room repentance?If you don't take a devil deal your chance for an angel room goes up. If you donate money to coin bums your angel room chance goes up. If you blow up demon bums your angel room chance goes up. Some items give you increased odds and some trinkets help as well.
Are Angel Rooms better than devil rooms Isaac?Devil Deals tend to be unreliable seeing how often one only gets red chests or black hearts offered and no items at all. On top of that, Angel items are free and you can increase your odds to get those sweet deals now. Devil deals are still not bad, but not THE go to route anymore.
