Skeleton Horses (or Skeletal Horses)are mobs that were first added to PC in 1.6. They are passive mobs that can be ridden only by one way (below). AppearanceSkeleton horses do not have a flesh, but are covered with bones in all their body. Skeleton TrapSkeleton Traps are a kind of a trap for the player. Here's how it works:
Notes
TamingA skeleton horse can be tamed by killing the skeleton that is riding the horse. Then, the player will be able to tame it. A saddle is required, too. WithersSkeleton horses, unlike other mobs, have a unique reaction to Withers. If a horse is alive, a Wither will attack it. But if the horse is a skeleton horse, the wither will not attack at all. This is due to their "undead" status. What do skeletons in Minecraft eat? What to feed them. Surprisingly, skeleton horses in Minecraft do not eat anything. They are undead mobs, and players cannot feed them.
Why can't I tame a skeleton horse?Just remember that you can't tame a skeleton horse by using a spawn egg. It has to be a naturally occurring spawn in the game. Kill the skeleton rider(s). When a horse is struck by lightning, it splits into four or five skeleton horses, and those horses have skeleton riders.
