It's well drawn and a nice story gimic to start their relationship. Plenty of room to grow. I genuinely like all the characters. Will keep reading this one. The main character is an otaku girl who lost her job and is behind on rent, so the cute landlord offers to help her out in exchange for favors- the first of which being that they sleep
together. Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on February 16, 2022 I Can't Believe I Slept With You! called to mind a one-shot yuri of a few years back, I Married My Best Friend To Shut My Parents Up. Both have the theme of a supposedly straight woman who, for reasons of convenience, becomes involved with a lesbian and matters get interesting. Koduka is a woman in a downward spiral, having lost her job and is behind on her rent. Her landlady (who has a name but prefers being called Landlady) offers relief if Koduka will have sex with her. Before long, Landlady draws up a contract and will forgive rent money for certain favors. She also moves in, bringing domesticity to Koduka's life. 19-year old Landlady says she likes older women, which doesn't go over entirely well with 24-year old Koduka. It could be worse, Koduka. Another recent yuri, 5 Seconds Before a Witch Falls In Love, featured Meg, a 508-year old witch attracted to a 26-year old woman. I've heard of cougars but I think we'd have to call Meg a sabre-tooth tiger. Back to Koduka and Landlady, we have a story that is in turns funny and tender as we watch a relationship develop. Koduka is slowing regaining confidence in herself and behind her icy facade, Landlady is a lonely woman who might be getting some light into her life. I Can't Believe I Slept With You! is off to a very promising start and I will be waiting for Volume 2. Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on February 8, 2022 The concept is a bit out there, but the execution is excellent. Our protagonist Chiyo is an unemployed 24 year old, who, having quit her job as a game designer, is now three months behind on her rent. Her landlady, the 19 year old Landlady (as she insists on being called, how she ended up becoming a landlady for multiple apartments isn't explained yet and her name is only revealed in passing at the end) comes up with an arrangement: do things that make her happy (not just sex) and for each one, she will knock 10000 yen of her 210,000 yen debt off. They only bang once, at the beginning, but now they're living together and things are taking a turn for the fun. It could have gone down an exploitative route, but the landlady is way too nice and not pushy in her requests, making her come off as extremely sympathetic (at one point, spoiler but, she knocks off 10k debt just because she felt sorry for her, which she denies happened when Chiyo notices it), though that she never smiles is a bit odd. All in all, I can't wait to see where this goes. Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on February 14, 2022 It has a setup much like 'How do we relationship,' and I like 'Slept With You' much more. Despite the title, this book is very tame. There's talk about sex off-screen, but it doesn't go much beyond kissing in the depicted story. Este Yuri empieza muy bien y se hace una lectura muy rápida y amena. Resumen: Una chica de 23 años se ha quedado sin su trabajo y debe pagar el alquiler a una chica de 19 pero esta no tiene dinero entonces la propietaria le dice que si tiene relación amorosa con ella. Estoy deseando leerme el tomo 2 y ya el 3 Aviso: este manga está únicamente en inglés, así que a todo aquel que tenga un inglés que se le dé mal, se va a perder más que Nemo.
