So my I am experiencing issues with my new Iphone 11 pro max, when importing photos and videos , especially videos to my windows pc. It works for a bit, but then I keep getting this message.: Show Yes, I allowed usb access from face recognition. Yes I allowed my phone to keep full resolution photos, and yes my Transfer to Mac or pc settings are set on automatic. I also tried keep originals, but to no avail. I have done everything, I can. restarting my phone, my computer also, buying new apple certified sync cables. but same issue. I also tried a different computer and experienced the same issue. Im afraid the issue here is the iphone 11 pro max itself. Wheter it is a hardware issue or a software issue I do not know. Im afraid Im going to have to return this phone. So my question is, is anyone else going through this , or is it just me?

Transferring photos from iPhone to Windows computer is usually simple, but sometimes you might encounter the Something went wrong error while transferring iPhone photos. If you are facing a similar problem, here are a few quick solutions to fix this error on your Windows PC. What can I do if the PC won’t import pictures from iPhone?1. Disable the antivirus on your PCThe antivirus should prevent any suspicious files from entering your PC. However, sometimes your antivirus can cause the Something went wrong iPhone photos error. To fix this issue, it’s advised to temporarily disable your antivirus. Most of the antivirus software allows you to disable it temporarily for a few minutes to a few hours. If not, in the worst-case scenario, completely quit the antivirus process and make the transfer. If the problem is still there, consider switching to a different antivirus. Viruses, malware, spyware, trojans, and adware are all designed to infiltrate your computer and are commonly distributed via hacked websites or e-mail accounts. It is not a good idea to compromise your safety just because one antivirus does not work for you. 2. Change file permission for the Pictures folder
Also, try to give Full Control permission to Everyone/System profile under Picture properties.
By default, iTunes transfers media files depending on their file format to a default location on a Windows computer. If you had made any changes to your computer recently, it is possible to have changed the file permission for these folders. 3. Keep your iPhone unlockedApple does not allow any transfer of data between devices if the iPhone is locked. If your iPhone is locked, you may encounter the Something went wrong error. To fix this problem, make sure that after connecting your iPhone to the PC, the iPhone is unlocked, and the lock screen is on during the file transfer. Transferring files between iOS and Windows 10 desktop or laptop is not an easy task and many users encountered several issues by doing this operation. Some PC issues are hard to tackle, especially when it comes to corrupted repositories or missing

Select up to a few hundred photos and try to move the photos to your computer. If it works, increase the number until you get the error again. Or simply continue to import photos in small batches until all the files are transferred. 5. Check the USB cableA faulty USB cable may create a problem during file transfer.
