'Hangover day'. Well, most people grow up and try to avoid hangovers after a certain age. 9 is a late start to any day.

I say 10 am is the safest and most reasonable time to go with. Hearing the grass mowed at 8 or earlier is unacceptable imo. Around 9 is annoying too, but I wouldn't throw a fit over it

9am is reasonable to me. If you are upset about being woken up at 9, you were probably not gonna be up by 12 anyway, so anytime between 9 - 12 is pretty much the same to the stoner/hungover crowd. And since they are gonna be disturbed anytime in that window I might as well start at 9.

I typically wait until 10:30 AM on the weekends and on week days I wait until after work (so about 6:00 PM or so). Even though I never sleep in past 8:00, revving up your mower that early is really inconsiderate IMO.

It's really not terribly hard to sort out how early/late people go to bed and wake up on the weekends if they are your neighbors. Have some empathy (within reason of course), even though that's a rare thing in suburbia.
