From what I've read (researching the ingredients, and how irritating they are or aren't) they're about midrange. Beautypedia has pretty good write-ups on them here Show That said, I absolutely love their Vitamin E & Peppermint lip balm. I'm a lip picker and tend to have dry chapped lips all the time even without picking at them. I like the peppermint cooling sensation and this is one of the only chapsticks I've tried that really fixes my lips when they're chapped and helps maintain a baseline level of good. According to beautypedia, their colors aren't super long lasting, but are typical for hydrating lip color length, and do hydrate for a long period, which is good. So, I guess the answer really depends on what you're looking for! Saw that someone had gotten me a Burt's bees stick and started using it yesterday. I have to keep reapplying it every 10 min where the Carmex would only need 3-4 per day.
