Is The Human Centipede 2 in color?

For example in the 1998 film American History X, the parts of the movie where Edward Norton's character is a racist, are shown in Black & White, whereas the part of the movie where Edward Norton is no longer a racist and is seen repenting are shot in color. Take a look here.

So my point is that use of 'Black & White' in contemporary movies do deal with darker aspects of the story. Or let's say the use of 'Black & White' adds to the dark nature of a scene or a whole movie.

Adding to that, Wikipedia entry of the movie says

"According to Six, he intentionally made Full Sequence very different from First Sequence, due to two reasons. First, back when he was writing the script of First Sequence, he knew people would want more "blood and shit" than is shown, and second, the two parts reflect the two different characters of their antagonists: the coloured First Sequence, with a slow-moving camera, fit the story of Dr. Heiter, while Martin Lomax's character required a "dark and dirty" film. Six shot Full Sequence in colour, but "was always thinking about black and white" and realized while editing that it was "much scarier" in black and white"

About:
The original release of Human Centipede 2 was in black and white. This colour version of the gore and shit came out a few years later and is actually the way the movie was originally shot – in colour.

Plot – Spoilers:
A mildly retarded parking attendant who was raped by his father as a child and is now bullied by his mother, is an obsessive fan of the Human Centipede movie. He decides to create his own extended cut of the movie and tricks the actress from the original into being a part of his new and real centipede.

While it felt and was positioned as an artistic choice, it’s clear that Tom Six’s The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence) (read my review) was forced to be released in black & white.

This morning Tom Six took us back to 2011 with another colorful look at Laurence R. Harvey as “Martin” in the sequel, which really makes the scene “pop”. The shot, shared above and below, is visceral, raw and uncompromising. I believe it tonally changes everything about Human Centipede 2 trasnforming it from a dark comedy to a brutal slasher. Thoughts?

Inspired by the fictional Dr. Heiter from the first film, disturbed loner Martin dreams of creating a 12-person centipede and sets out to realize his sick fantasy.

Anya Taylor-Joy stars alongside Ralph Fiennes and Nicholas Hoult in The Menu, a film from director Mark Mylod (“Succession”) that was released in theaters last month, where it has thus far eaten its way to $59 million at the worldwide box office. Today we’ve learned that The Menu will be coming home next month, first to Digital and then quickly to Blu-ray.

A Tennessee teacher decided to show their class Tom Six's revolting piece of torture porn excrement The Human Centipede 2 for reasons that remain ambiguous. (It is in black and white, which makes it an inherently artsy film.)

Why is the centipede 2 in black and white?

This inspired him for the sequel. Tom Six shot "Full Sequence" in colour, but was later told he had to change it to black-and-white due to being too gory.

Which Human Centipede movie is banned?

The Human Centipede (2009) This movie was banned outright in the UK and Australia, whereas the American censor board refused to give it any ratings.

Is The Human Centipede 2 disturbing?

Tom Six's The Human Centipede Part 2: Full Sequence is by far one of the most disturbing movies I have ever seen; yes it has a lot of violence and gore, but the worst part to me is the fact that every single part of Martin's personality can be diagnosed.
