L Oreal Paris Colorista Semi Permanent Hair Color for brunettes

I used on bleached hair, so if you want results like I mine I reccomend the same. I bleached first, to between a 9 and 10. Purple shampoo, then this. I've reapplied 3 times and I've had this beautiful color for at least 6 months. It fades slowly to a lighter version. It did not show up at all on my dark hair, so I wouldn't recommend it for medium to dark brown or black. It also will stay in your hair forever like a permanent color. So if you aren't looking to commit to teal hair and want something that will wash out, this isn't for you. Green and blue hair dye have smaller molecules and will really stick in your hair. To get it out, you'll need to cancel it out with copper and red color. So be prepared to go darker afterwards. If you color with copper and red, you'll be able to bleach again and lighten to a blonde again. Most color removers will not get this out or turn your hair pink. Just a heads up!

I LOVE this brand, that's why I still rate 5 stars. I have bought this brand in numerous colors and will always recommend to others. I usually get wonderful results.

But, after this particular purchase, I was about to use the dye when I noticed that the color coming out of the bottle was not what I am used to with this shade. The color resembles a slate gray shade when the product is straight out of the bottle. After drying, the color is a bit less dark, but is a lavender gray tone. I'm not sure if the wrong dye is in the bottle, or what, but I did do a strand test just to make sure that I was correct in my assumptions. The color is definitely of the grayish toned variety. Customer reviews mean a lot to me, so I wanted to make sure I put this out here just in case someone runs into the same problem that I have just encountered.

Update: after contacting L'Oreal directly, they are sending me a refund by check in the mail. Since they didn't need the product back to investigate, I decide to try the product in the name of science. Lol it darkened my hair a bit, but the product smelled a little chemically. Shade is 1000% not maroon or red tinted in any way. So, I'm not sure what happened here.

I usually looooooooove this product. It's easy to use and the color turns out really pretty. Yes, it's not a temporary color by any means, but it works for me. I've used it every few months for two years.

HOWEVER, this past time, the color came out of the tube a gray/black color. I figured, maybe it sat in the truck too long or they changed the recipe. It did absolutely NOTHING. It didn't dye my hair maroon (or even gray/black). It all washed right out. Waste of my money and time. I just hope that the sellers get back to me soon about a replacement.

//EDIT// I was given a refund for my previous purchase, and the owner assures me that she'll figure out where the issue is.

REVIEW FOR #200Pink
My hair was very light after multiple bleach jobs. I went from a balayage to full Draco malfoy, and the pink was not forgiving at all. I had some level 8 pieces and those pieces didn’t pick up on the color at all. I have very long hair about 25-28” and only had one tube of dye, so I had to add equal parts of white conditioner to dilute the color for A softer look. Before dying I had toned my hair so there weren’t any orange or yellow pieces. And the dye turned out terrible. The platinum hair pieces turned pastel purple and it was very patchy even though I soaked my hair on the solution and double checked my placement. I absolutely hated it and it came out easily with a baking soda and developer solution, though it did leave a TINY hint of green on the platinum strands. So if you’re going for a soft pastel pink look make sure your hair is WHITE BLONDE, and yes it does wash out eventually and it actually it doesn’t hurt to try, witty pink color you don’t even need to do a bleach wash to remove the color.

REVIEW FOR #300SoftPink
After failing to achieve a pastel pink with 1 bottle of #200Pink mixed with conditioner, I decided to give #300SoftPink a try. I only used 1 tube and mixed in 1.5cups of white conditioner for my long hair. I left it on for 20 minutes and after rinsing the dye out, my hair became the PERFECT shade of light pink. I shower once maybe twice a week with color expensive safe shampoos and conditioners but sadly the pink faded quite quickly after the first wash it turned into a pink toned blonde shade on the roots only. My ends remained the same shade of pastel pink. I don’t recommend using the soft pink dye struggle from the bottle you won’t get pastel pink at all, it’s too potent. The soft pink shade also does not have a purple undertone like the pink shade in colorista. Soft pink held onto every single strand and didn’t leave my hair patchy looking with odd purple spots like the pink dye.

Semi-permanent color =) that covers the greys. Not so difficult application …avoiding scalp. I like the flare of blue hair around my face @~@

I love the color this turned my hair. It is so cool looking. And, I've used this product before and it does last for a hot minute before it starts to fade in color. It I well worth the money and time.

I bought Soft Pink because I am most definitely not a Fuchsia hair person. Decided to try this because all the photos people have posted after trying it have lovely soft pink hair.

I, too,. wanted soft pink hair. The soft pink of a frosty dawn. The delicate pale of moonlit opals. The sweet blush of newly budded cherry blossoms.

The picture does not do the brightness justice because this is the fluorescent hot and bold pink of a seedy Vegas Girls-Girls-Girls sign. It glows with the force of at least six deadly sins and seems intent on clinging, too. This is after one wash with a clarifying shampoo. It found all my secret bleach streak experiments like those dental disclosing tablets they gave you in elementary school to show you where plaque lives. Don't "strand test" me, L'Oreal; ain't no one got time for that.

Note: you may be able to replicate this shade if you (A) Use entire tube that claims to be for 3 applications (maybe... if you have a buzzcut), (B) put it in under a shower cap and leave it on for way longer than they say and (C) have severely damaged porous hair that craves the defensive power of colour molecules

Anyway, I am getting used to it and even kind of like it. At my age, I should know better. I'm no frosty dawn cherry blossom.

I really enjoyed this product! I have bleach blonde hair and wanted to change things up again without committing to something long term and was drawn to the soft pink. One tube was enough to do my whole head of just below shoulder length, thick hair. I left the colour on for 18 minutes and it came out a really nice bubble gum pink shade. It only lasted for about 2, maybe 3 washes though which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. This shade completely washed out after a few more washes and I can't wait to reapply more!

I got the blue one and I think it works amazing. My base is bleached blonde that is not really light so I was worried the color would not show so before I applied to my hair I cut two patches of hair and tried the dye on them. From the first two pics you can see that the color looks amazing if your base light. My hair tips are a bit lighter than the middle part so the blue showed very wonderfully on the tips but in the middle it turns a bit more purple-ish. So if you’re buying this hoping to get that shiny perfect blue color, make sure your base is very light. The last picture is the day of having the dye on and the second last picture is after 2 washes. It faded a bit but it still looks super nice! Have quite an ombré feeling.

I highly recommend this!!! Would buy again when I finished using the bottle.

No me gustó de nada; en la primer foto esta mi cabello antes del tinte (casi blanco de extracción de color hace 3 meses), la segunda es de como quedó el tinte después de la aplicación (ya lavado. Seguí las instrucciones de la caja)Nada que ver con el color que debía ser , y la tercer foto es de como quedó tras la primer lavada al tercer día de poner el tinte. Prácticamente no quedó casi nada de color, se supone que dura de 4 a 8 lavadas, pero dudo que dure una más.
