These items allow you to affect how the game progresses by giving you handy benefits. For instance, it's possible to find several multipliers so that you can more quickly build up a good supply of LEGO studs, the currency that in turn will allow you to quickly pay for spells and characters.

When you find a Red Brick, you'll be somewhere in Hogwarts Castle itself. There should be an owl perch nearby. Take the brick to the perch and it will be sent out to the Emporium. Then you can head to the Emporium (in Diagon Alley) and purchase whatever 'Extra' the brick made available. Red Brick purchases can be expensive, but typically they're worth it. Below, we'll list them in the order that they are available for purchase in the shop.

Info: Head to the Greenhouse building, near the large grassy area where students learn how to fly their brooms. Enter the door along the back left side, which you may have to blast open with your wand. In the next room, head through an opening on the right side. You're now on a high ledge with three planter pots. Drop down to the area below and head to the lower right corner. There, you can use magic blasts on a large plant to send its leaves scattering. Next, use Wingardium Leviosa magic to assemble a green bridge leading up to high ground. Make your way to the back right corner on the lower level and step into the wardrobe to equip some earmuffs. With those equipped, head around the area and find the three shrieking mandrakes. One is just to the lower right, one is on a high ledge to the left and one is in an enclosed area that you'll have to open by pulling a large lever along the back wall to reveal a small back room. Take all three mandrakes up along the bridge to the higher level and plant them in their pots. When all of them have been planted, a Red Brick will appear that you can carry over to the owl on the lower left side of the lower level.

Info: To obtain this Red Brick, an ideal grouping of characters is Griphook, Harry and Lucius Malfoy. Head to the first Charms lesson area (the right of the two doors available along the outside corridor ahead of the Charms classrooms). Inside, have Griphook head to the lower left side of the room and interact with the vault. You'll reveal an opening in the floor. Drop through the opening, then head right along the ledge. Watch out for the grates. Claws will come out of them if you pass over them, knocking you down to the lower area. If that happens, head left and bounce back up to high ground using a spiderweb trampoline, then try again. You can use Lumos magic to make it easier to see the grates. Next, you'll need to run past chests that try to push you forward from a ledge. It's easy to get past all of them if you run forward the minute each one begins to recede. At the end of the ledge, there's an archway that you can pass through to reach a new room. Here, make your way to the right wall and have Harry use his Parseltongue ability to confer with a snake. It'll evaporate into a large boulder. Have your evil character use Dark Magic on the boulder to move it out of the way so that you can collect the Red Brick. Deliver it to the owl located just to the left.
