Deadpools missions are unlocked automatically after completing the main storyline. During each quest you can obtain a True Believer status, collect some character tokens, rescue Stan Lee in Peril and - finally! - get one of the Deadpools Red Bricks. They are eleven Deadpools missions in total.

Q: How do you do free play missions on LEGO Marvel Super Heroes?

If you want to do a free play mode, youll have to pause & exit out of the game and get to the aircraft zone in order to choose a previously completed level to free play. Or you can select it from the map.

Q: How do you unlock Deadpool levels?

Other than The Brick Apple, each level has a hidden Deadpool brick (Red brick) which can be bought from his room on-board the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier. These levels can be accessed by finding a doorway somewhere in Manhattan, all of which are marked on the map, like the normal levels.

i cannot for the life of me figure out how to access freeplay for them?

specifically im trying to do tabloid tidy up freeplay. i completed the story version but cannot find where to go to do the freeplay version

Return to the helicarrier. Take the elevator inside. In the middle of the main room (with the windows and computers) should be a center console to select all story missions and Deadpool missions

If you want something done right, do it yourself.
So note to self: Do more myself.

Or open up the world map, click on the icon for that mission and choose Free Play.

So I've done two of the Deadpool missions, and afterwards it says "Free Play Unlocked" like usual, but when you go back to the location of them, you enter whichever location it is and it just throws you into the story version of it with no FP option.......any help?

Ah, nevermind. Free Play shows up on the map icon, but not in the location entrance. Sorry

Deadpool's missions are unlocked automatically after completing the main storyline. During each quest you can obtain a True Believer status, collect some character tokens, rescue Stan Lee in Peril and - finally! - get one of the Deadpool's Red Bricks. They are eleven Deadpool's missions in total.

Red Bricks (or Deadpool Bricks) are collectibles obtainable only during Deadpool's bonus missions. To get access to them, complete the stage for the first time - that's the way to unlock the free play mode, which grants you an option to control more characters with different abilities (during first play you will not have an access to full character reel). Only specific heroes can reach areas, on which Red Bricks are hidden.

Each of the Red Brick grants you different bonuses, unlockable at Extras section - pause the game to reach it. Remember that you must bought them first in Deadpool's room, hidden in S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier. To go there, exit the main room using the door on the left and then enter the chamber located on the right (as screen shows).

Collecting all Red Bricks is required to complete the game in 100%.

Some of bonus missions are locked at the first time and require specific quantity of Gold Bricks to become available. Chart below explains all requirements and depicts some useful information, which should be very helpful during gameplay.
