Flute

Found: Forest clearing in the Light World to the southeast of Kakariko Village.
In the Dark World in the comparable clearing, the transformed Flute Player will give you his Shovel, asking you to find his Flute. Once you dig up the Flute in the northwest corner of the clearing in the Light World, offer it to him in the Dark World and he'll let you keep it.
Requirements: Shovel
Use: The Flute is used to transform the Weathercock in Kakariko Village into the Flying Duck. Once he has awakened the Flying Duck, Link can use the flute (In the Light World) to call the Flying Duck and fast travel to many locations around Hyrule.

Where is Magic flute Link to past?

Use the Magic Mirror and enter the Light World. You can get the Flute by digging up a specific flower patch, located west of the tree directly behind the stump that Flute Boy is on. Dig up that flower patch and there you'll find the Flute.

Trivia. In A Link to the Past, the flute that the Flute Boy plays is actually an Ocarina. Gulley's visual design is based on the Flute Boy from A Link to the Past.
