Brazis, MD Professor of Neurology Mayo Medical School Department of Neurology and Ophthalmology Consultant in Neurology and Neuro-Ophthalmology Mayo Clinic-Jacksonville Jacksonville, FL Reviews from Amazon users, collected at the time the book is getting published on UniedVRG. It can be related to shiping or paper quality instead of the book content: ⭐ Tooooo complicated. Actually it discusses relatively easy topics in overdetailed and oversimplified manner and just briefly runs through heavy and complicated stuff. Probably best for now… but I hate it. ⭐ Very detailed ⭐ as knowledgeable book , it is greatbut i did not like its paper material and the way of printing and arrangement of paragraphs ⭐ I was looking forward to this new (6th) edition. However, the anatomic illustrations, especially those of the peripheral nervous system, are of such poor quality as to be unusable. Instead of achieving greater clarity by using color, the publisher has produced illustrations that are really difficult to see. The colors chosen provide so little contrast between skeletal and neural structures that one really has to hunt for what should simply be obvious. The B&W illustrations of earlier editions were much better. ⭐ Localization in clinical neurology is a book that focuses in one of the most important step of the neurologist work: topographic diagnosis. The book is writen with precision and uses concise language.I recommend Brazis’ book to every neurologist and neurology resident. ⭐ do not buy from Amazon , had to buy the online after i got the book and was damagedworse service over , stay away ⭐ Neuroanatomy is the key for neurological localization. This text is the most yielding book as far as localization in clinical neurology is concerned. Purchase it and you’ll never regret that. I do really enjoy it. ⭐ Clasic! A must have! ⭐ Great book for all the neurologist. For some the picture illustrations are not great but I think the text provides excellent description. Highly recommend this book. ⭐ Excelent
