I am wearing it today for the first time and really like it. It feels lightweight, it has the coverage I wanted, smooth looking skin, and evened out my "tones." I bought Light 20, but think I need Light 10 too, in order to get the perfect shade for me. I am in between at the moment but having both shades will allow me to go into winter. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the color selection is not broad enough with only 8 colors. The product feels lovely! I recommend you try it if you are already thinking about it. Serum / Vitamin C at night and morn . And that's a MUST HAVE product cause it really takes away fine lines around your eyes. Then I came across this gem and wow , it's smooth, light and makes the lines practically disappear. No makeup in creases . They disappear!!! Then , since I'm in no hurry , about 30 minutes later, I finish up with the eye shadow etc...stuff, THEN slightly dust it with powder and bam! Ready to go ! I no longer want full coverage, long wearing, matte, “perfect skin” sorts of products. I’d rather have light coverage, dewy or satin finish, naturally perfected looking products. This is that sort of foundation. It’s balmy, goes on sheer but is slightly buildable, skin-like finish that wears well and fades gracefully. It looks like you’re not wearing makeup, yet it enhances your natural skin and helps even out any imperfections. Not erase them, but soften them. It doesn’t cling to dry patches, or sink into enlarged pores or fine lines. It doesn’t sit on top of your skin and look heavy. It’s really a lovely foundation balm for everyday casual or work wear. The shade 10 light matches me well(I was concerned because it looked a bit orange in the jar). I love this tinted balm. However, if you like full-coverage and matte-finish foundations, this is probably not for you. This is great for daily use if you want to even out your skin and it does a good job for that. It really is a great product for aging skin. I’m not sure of the “firming, etc” claims, but is so light and it doesn’t settle into fine lines and wrinkles. Although it’s very light coverage, it’s slightly buildable. It sort of melts into your skin, evening tone, moisturizing and improving texture. Colours run dark, so you need to go lighter than usual. This is my new “daily wear” makeup. There is next to no coverage, didn’t cover any of my redness but was like a magnifying glass for the texture on my skin. I wiped it off, tried it again a couple days later, wiped it off again even faster and put it aside and have never touched it again. I’m 47 with hardly a wrinkle but this made my skin look like I was 67. Terrible. No other foundation or tinted moisturizer, etc has ever aged my skin so badly but for it to be a product of a line especially for mature skin? Wow. I won’t be bothering to try the other products from the Age Perfect line if a tinted balm can make my skin look so awful. Would give 0 stars if I could.

I'm in my late 30's with a dewy, mostly even complexion, it's probably more moisturing than I need it to be, and I usually don't wear foundation, but this does a great job of maintaining a natural look while providing a smoothing layer, it's a nice subtle filter! The shades available are few but versatile, I went with fair 20 for my summer skin & it seems like it would look good on a range of fair skin tones. A drug store product that feels high end, I highly recommend it. |
