Event Parking: Local partners and businesses have offered their lots for parking during Red Rhythm and Boom on July 3. Parking is permitted on Sunday, July 3 beginning at 4 p.m. to midnight. A shuttle will transport your party to the Mason Municipal Center and Community Center campus from designated parking sites. RV's, large trailers, alcohol, grills and glass bottles are not permitted in designated parking sites.

This FREE patriotic event is taking place on Wednesday, July 3 at Mason Municipal Center and Community Center campus. The fun will begin at 4 p.m. featuring kids activities and attractions such as interactive inflatables, bounce houses, carnival games and more! Guests can also enjoy a wide variety of food options as well as adult beverages available throughout the evening.

The City of Mason is celebrating the anniversary of our nation’s independence with the annual Red, Rhythm and Boom event. This FREE event is an opportunity to thank our residents and business owners and promote the quality of life Mason has to offer. Mason City Council invites the community to come out and celebrate the patriotic holiday on Sunday, July 3, 2022.

ENTERTAINMENT
The City of Mason is excited to announce the 2022 Red Rhythm and Boom event will feature multi-platinum and Grammy-nominated band, Smash Mouth! Smash Mouth is an American Rock/Pop band formed in 1994 in California. Their major-label debut “Fush Yu Mang” went more than double platinum and set the table for what most consider their masterpiece, 1999’s brilliant follow-up album “Astrolounge”. Smash Mouth’s popular hits such as “All Star” and “I’m a Believer” are sure to keep the crowd rocking throughout the evening on July 3! The City of Mason is also excited to announce that 2022 Red Rhythm & Boom will kick off with an opening performance at 6:00 p.m. by the alt-pop band from Cincinnati, The ReUnion of Souls! The ReUnion of Souls is made up of the original founding members of the Blessed Union Of Souls, reuniting for the first time in over ten years. Smash Mouth will take the stage shortly after at 8:30 p.m.

GENERAL EVENT INFORMATION
The fun will begin at 4:00 p.m. with access to carnival and kid zone activities such as interactive inflatables, bounce houses, carnival games and more! Guests can also enjoy a wide variety of food truck options as well as adult beverages available throughout the evening. Stage entertainment will kick off at 6:00 p.m. and will continue throughout the night until a fireworks display presented by Rozzi Famous Fireworks at 10:00 p.m. We hope you can join us!

KIDS ZONE
SuperGames, Inc. will once again be providing the kids entertainment and attractions for 2022 Red, Rhythm and Boom! Kid-Zone activities will include interactive inflatables, bounce houses, carnival games and more!

Each child will require a wristband to enjoy the Kid Zone activities and attractions at Red, Rhythm and Boom. Beginning at 4:00 p.m. on July 3, wristbands will be sold for $10 at all information booths until approximately 9:30 p.m. Kids Zone activities will conclude once the fireworks begin. All proceeds from Kid-Zone wristbands will benefit the Mason Parks and Recreation Foundation.

TICKETS
The event is FREE (no admission ticket is required). All lawn seating is first come, first serve beginning at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 3. Backstage passes are not available.
