The Subaru EJ251 and EJ252 engines had an aluminium alloy block with 99.5 mm bores – with cast iron dry-type cylinder liners – and a 79.0 mm stroke for a capacity of 2457 cc. The cylinder block for the EJ251 and EJ252 engines had an open-deck design whereby the cylinder walls were supported at the three and nine o’clock positions.

The crankcase for the EJ251 and EJ252 engines had five main bearings and the flywheel housing was cast with the crankcase for increased rigidity. Like other EJ Phase II engines, the crankshaft thrust bearing was positioned at the rear of the crankshaft to reduce the transfer of natural engine frequencies to the transmission and driveline. The EJ251 and EJ252 engines had a compression ratio of 10.1:1; the injection and firing order was 1-3-2-4.

I loved that it made kids slow down and think before talking and that they had to have EVIDENCE! Not just letting their passion take them off the rails.

Mock Trial was the best experience I had in school, period. I made friends I still have after a decade, gained confidence in myself, and learned communication skills I still use today.

Aaron, Mock Trial Alum

I came away with better critical thinking and writing skills, and have a better understanding of how our justice system works.

Do you have to spray paint a tumbler before glitter?

The first thing you want to do is to spray paint your tumbler. While technically not required, this is good for two reasons: Spray painting gives the glitter a different surface to adhere to; stainless steel is often smooth and stuff doesn't stick to it.

Can you use acrylic sealer on tumblers?

There are various ways on how to seal a tumbler without using epoxy. You can apply CrystaLac, Mod Podge, or a clear acrylic spray instead.

Do you have to sand tumblers before painting?

You don't have to sand them or do anything special! Just pick your favorite color and go for it! It does take some practice, so have patience with yourself and don't make the first one for someone else. My kids and I have about 10 DIY custom tumblers in the house.
