Nle choppa love dont live here anymore

Over a knocking beat by 2Rare, which samples by Rose Royce’s “Love Don’t Live Here Anymore”, the Memphis rapper goes off on an ex with a savage flow. “Pack yo’ bags and leave my kids / I’ma forget about you when you leave,” he raps. “Fuck your friend, but, that’ll be green / Send me a message, I left it on, seen.”

The release comes with an accompanying video which finds the duo turning up at an outdoor gathering with friends and a few twerkers.

“Do It Again” is NLE Choppa’s first music since his heartfelt record, “Little Miss” released last month. NLE Choppa can also be heard on DDG’s “9 Lives” alongside Polo G.

NLE Choppa has dropped several hits this year, and he’ll do it again. On the 19-year-old’s latest single, “Do It Again,” the Memphis rapper looks forward after a break-up while delivering fiery bars over a punchy, fast-paced drum-driven beat that contains a prominent sample of “Love Don’t Live Here Anymore” by Rose Royce.

“I’m too fine to be so alone,” he raps on the song’s chorus, continuing, saying, “I’ma get money no matter the cost / Havin’ some water, I’m havin’ some Voss / Got that dope d*ck, that’s yo’ loss / He is a worker, I am a boss.”

Joining Choppa is Philadelphia rapper 2Rare, who shows off his vocal stylings, singing and rapping humorous one-liners on his verse. One of the standout lines is, “B*tch, you like a squirrel, you just like Sandy, b*tch, get off my nuts.”

In the song’s accompanying video, Choppa throws a party in the street, where he is joined by his neighbors. Throughout the video, Choppa and 2Rare are seen dancing in the street, grilling wings, smashing cakes, and getting twerked on by some ladies.

"Do It Again" is a song by American rapper NLE Choppa, released on October 7, 2022 alongside a music video. It features American rapper 2Rare and was produced by Fye Man. The song contains a sample of "Love Don't Live Here Anymore" by Rose Royce.

Background and composition[edit]

The song was released shortly after NLE Choppa publicly split with his girlfriend Marissa DaNae.[1] Over a "punchy, fast-paced" drum beat, Choppa boasts about moving on from the relationship and what his ex has lost.[1][2]

Critical reception[edit]

Lamar Banks of HotNewHipHop gave the song a "Hottttt" rating.[1] Alex Gonzalez of Uproxx described Choppa as "delivering fiery bars" and wrote that 2Rare "shows off his vocal stylings, singing and rapping humorous one-liners on his verse", also praising his line "Bitch, you like a squirrel, you just like Sandy, bitch, get off my nuts" as one of the standout lines in the song.[2]

Music video[edit]

The music video was directed by NLE Choppa himself.[1] It sees the two artists throwing a neighborhood party, where they are seen dancing,[2][3] grilling wings, smashing cakes, and joined by twerking women.[1][2]
