Landmarks of Riches Treasure

updated May 6, 2021

The Landmarks of Riches Treasure is another Treasure Map series in Red Dead Redemption 2. This treasure hunt involves four maps, or clues. The "maps" are not really maps. Instead, they are sketches that offer clues to a location.

The first map for the Landmarks of Riches Treasure is found by exploring the wilderness. It is in the Big Valley region of West Elizabeth, near the western edge of the map.

Northwest of Lake Owanjila is the Obelisk. It is one of a handful of Points of Interest in the area. While you are there, take the time to inspect it and let Arthur sketch it in his journal.

Examining the plague on the western side of the Obelisk will reveal a hole behind the plague. Inside is the first map.

The map depicts a church with a large hand reaching down from the clouds. This clue leads to another Point of Interest in the swamps of Bayou Nwa.

Standing alone in the swamps east of Lakay is the Tiny Church. Climb onto the roof of the church and search the bell tower. Here you will find some loot and the second map.

Landmarks of Riches Treasure Map 2

The map depicts a sculpture of a turtle with a broken shell. This clue leads to yet another Point of Interest.

East of Donner Falls and Bacchus Bridge in the Grizzlies East region of Ambarino is the Mysterious Hill Home.

Painted onto the roof of the Mysterious Hill Home is a symbol of a turtle similar to the turtle shown in the map. Climb onto the roof of the home and search a broken window to find more loot and the third map.

Landmarks of Riches Treasure Map 3

This map shows a cannon that morphs into a fallen tree, pointing toward a tree stump. This clue leads to yet another Point of Interest.

South of Rhodes in the state of Lemoyne you will find Bolger Glade.

Bolger Glade is the site of a civil war battle. It features several discarded cannons and a network of reinforced trenches. Near the southern edge of the site is a tree stump surrounded by trenches, with a fallen log spanning one of the trenches. Search the tree stump to find the fourth map and some loot.

Landmarks of Riches Treasure Map 4

Map 4 of the series shows the sun rising over a mountain ridge with a clock face or sundial in the foreground. The number 7 on the clock face is highlighted.

Head to the stone sundial on Mount Shann. As you might expect, you are almost back where this treasure hunt started. The sundial is within sight of the Obelisk.

Approach the sundial from the west and examine the rock at the 7 o'clock position. Underneath the rock is the treasure - six gold bars worth $3000 at any fence. This concludes the mission.
