The first time I opened the bottle, the shampoo appeared to be watery so I poured quite a bit into my hand. Big mistake. This shampoo lathered like crazy so I spent 10 minutes rinsing it out of my hair. I'm a natural blonde and my hair stylist puts foil highlights in my hair 2 levels lighter than my hair. The shampoo was very gentle on my fine color-treated hair. I didn't care for the fragrance but since the shampoo was so gentle on my hair, I would probably purchase it again. I didn't care for the screw-on cap on the trial size bottle, it allows too much shampoo to pour out if you're not careful.
