Join the von Trapps and fellow music fans for this Bowl tradition, and don a clever costume for the pre-show contest with hilarious host Melissa Peterman at our special screening of the Oscar®-winning film.

It’s a fun-filled sing-a-long for the whole family—and thousands of Angelenos. Sing-A-Long Sound of Music brings the song-filled hills of Europe to the gorgeous Hollywood Hills for a night of singing and celebration. Brush up on “My Favorite Things” and “So Long, Farewell,” get dressed up in your leiderhosen for the pre-show costume contest, and get ready to sing. Raise your Edelweiss and join us!

Bowl Shuttle departures begin 2.5 hours before the concert and continue every 10-15 minutes until concert start time.

Park & Ride departure times vary by lot. Lots do sell out, so purchasing ahead of time is strongly recommended (advance sales end 10am the day before the concert).

    From the Hollywood Freeway (101) North or South, exit at Lankershim Blvd., to Ventura Blvd., turn right into parking lot. Subject to stacked parking. Departures every 15-20 minutes, beginning 2 1/2 hours before concert.

  • Hollywood & Highland Lot • Line 671 (Shuttle Lot D)

    6801 Hollywood Blvd.

    Entrance to parking structure off Highland Ave. or Orange Dr. (Parking fee required: $3 for up to 2 hours with validation; $1 for every 15 min. thereafter. Daily maximum is $20.) Shuttle tickets are not available in advance. Bus stop in Orange Court. Departures every 15-20 minutes, beginning 2 1/2 hours before the concert.

    Note: Park and Ride for the Hollywood & Highland lot is not available for pre-purchase. Patrons must purchase in person, on the night of the event.

What are super seats at the Hollywood Bowl?

The Hollywood Bowl Super Seats are known as the preferred section within the Hollywood Bowl because they are limited to only three sections in the central area of the amphitheater and are arranged in stadium-seating style for the lucky patrons who are able to reserve them.

Can you bring your own wine to the Hollywood Bowl?

What Can I Bring? You're welcome to bring your own food and drink* to the Hollywood Bowl. Feel free to bring wine bottles, wine glasses and beer bottles inside for LA Phil-presented events.

Can you bring hard liquor to Hollywood Bowl?

The Hollywood Bowl permits concertgoers to bring wine bottles, wine glasses and beer bottles onto the grounds and inside the venue itself. However, you can't throw a full-blown party at the Bowl: no kegs or hard liquor are allowed.

Can I bring a blanket to Hollywood Bowl?

On the Hollywood Bowl Grounds Bring a towel or blanket because you might have to dine on the grass though.
