And by that, I mean one that no one saw coming, as there were never any hints given in any previous Marvel films or their post-credit scenes, that we would see an actual "Spidey team-up", Tobey Maguire & Andrew Garfield alongside Tom Holland, here in NO WAY HOME.I placed my order here at Amazon back in Dec '21 so I got it on the actual release date. IDK if.....??.....others who placed their orders in Feb/Mar had to wait a few extra days cuz their copies were marked on the "back order lists" due to high demand.***In disregarding those phony "1-star reviews" that some here posted complaining that the movie was released only into theatres and not made available for streaming due to COVID risks, I'll go further to say that those whiners were also likely being freeloading cheapskates, just wanting to see the movie, at little-to-no cost to them!***As for the movie itself, it has to rank right up there with THE AVENGERS, as far as team-ups go. Sam Raimi's SPIDERMAN 2 is still the best film of all the wall-crawler movies, but NWH comes awfully close.The only bad things I could argue after watching this, was at the start how so many NY'ers could turn out to be completely gullible into actually believing Mysterio was murdered by Spiderman and that Peter Parker was a criminal. Contrast that to the NY'rs' whose lives Spidey saved on the runaway subway train scene in SPIDERMAN 2 (2004) and their gratitude they displayed towards him afterwards, has you believing they would have NEVER turned on him regardless of what Mysterio might orchestrate.Surely an investigation by Damage Control and that obnoxious DODC officer would have concluded that Quentin Beck operating as Mysterio was nothing more than a disgruntled and disgraced ex-Stark employee who had a major hand in all that destruction & chaos at the end of FAR FROM HOME, which could have been used to exonerate Peter, but the characters simply sat on those facts.Overall, a terrific job done by director Jon Watts with almost the entire cast made up completely with recurring characters that the audiences are familiar with and can relate to, hardly any newcomers which can usually be confusing to viewers since their storylines are not yet established and can be distracting in a blockbuster movie on this big of a scale. Both Andrew Garfield & Jamie Foxx's performances exceed the level they did in TASM2.So, this is a terrific outing featuring the three Peters/Spideys, Doc Ock, Electro, Sandman, Lizard, Goblin, Dr Strange in action with Aunt May, Happy Hogan, MJ, Ned, Flash Thompson, Wong, J Jonah Jameson, lawyer Matt Murdock & even the Midtown HS characters all in supporting roles.GREAT MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not a film critic, so I'll stay away from that part in this review, although I don't think this movie was the best one out of the Spider Man movies I've ever watched.
I'll just talk about how the movie looks and sounds on the 4K blu ray, and from that perspective, I find no fault at all. The picture is very sharp and crisp, the colors jump off of the screen at you, and along with the deep black levels, it kinda makes it look like you're watching a 3-D blu ray... very impressive.
It sounds pretty good too... nice and detailed, with ultra clean dialogue and deep bass... it gets deep enough to rattle my bedroom windows at times, while using my Klipsch Cinema 400 soundbar.
So in conclusion, it's a very good 4k blu ray, and if you watch it in a dark environment, I promise you'll be blown away like I was. Good job Sony!

Well thank God this has nothing to do with Disney, since they're 4K UHD Blu-ray movies suck ass when it comes to sound audio quality, everything is good about it even the movie specs itself—the audio sound and the video quality it's just wholesome, it has a vibrant vivid contrast towards its color of the movie, and the movie has some hammering audio sound and a fantastic Atmos track. The scene where doc Ock first appears in the movie on the bridge fight scene against Spider-Man sounded so good that you can hear his arms move all around each of your home theater speakers, and for the Statue of Liberty fight where Andrew's Spider-Man saves MJ was immersively intense, because during that scene you can hear a muted muffle with ringing from every each one of your speakers having a slight vibrating but shocking feeling in your home theater, and this movie for a variety of times about 70%+ of the movie is pretty much 4k crispy and sharp, but other times, it can have a slight blur of softness. But overall, for The story/plot, I give it an 8/10 because even though it was expected, it was a good one. For casting, I give it a 9/10 because of Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield and the other rest of the cast that played the previous Spider-Man villains. For acting, I'll give it an 8.5/10, Jacob battalion as Ned could use some improvement, but overall, all things up. For sound audio, I'll have to give it a 9.3/10 and the reasoning why I didn't give this a 10/10 is because of the pumpkin-bomb explosions scene not being as good as the explosion scene in The Batman (2022) where the bomb detonation had Batman flying back in the air in the church with decent bass and/or base response, but overall still, a worthy score rate. And last but not least; for pictures/video quality, I'll give it a 9.5/10 and sure, the whole movie may have not had that razor sharp 4K crispy detail, but only most of movie did kinda have that, but for the Dolby Vision-HDR giving out that bright pop of color on the night time action scenes, like the part where Spider-Man first meets Electro at Night in the woods, that has some good visuals, and anything that's a bright exploding flash of light, like the pumpkin bomb scenes and Electro using his lightning that I'll take place at night throughout those clips are the best looking parts of the movies specifically the night time was like I said earlier, but overall.. a 9.7/10, the movies VFX and CGI may not have been as good as Andrew's trilogy, but the screenwriting was better than Andrew's Trilogy though at least. So yeah.. (SURROUND SOUND AUDIO DESIGN: 9.3/10 • VISUAL AESTHETIC: 10/10 • VIDEO/PICTURE: 9.5/10 • CASING: 9/10 • CGI/VFX: 8.3/10 • MOVIE FILM OVERALL A 9.7/10 👏🏻👏🏻

Spider-Man: Homecoming was a fun ride from start to finish, and Spider-Man: Far From Home was a lackluster follow up with a terrible ending. So you can imagine I was a little hesitant to watch the next movie Spider-Man: No Way Home, plus the trailer had One More Day vibes to it, and if you know anything about that comic then you'd understand my concern. But still I decided to see it anyway in case I was wrong. Turns out that this was a huge improvement from Far From Home and it was One More Day done right, but I was still somewhat disappointed. Don't get me wrong, I do think this is a good movie, but to explain why I'm not a big fan of this will involve going into major spoilers. But first, I should probably list all of the positives. The acting of course was great, with Tom Holland again being a great Spider-Man, and everyone else being perfect in their roles. It was great to see Tobey Maguire back as Sam Raimi's Spider-Man again and having Willem Dafoe and Alfred Molina reprising their roles as Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus...and I guess it was ok seeing Andrew Garfield and company back from the Amazing Spider-Man movies too. I will admit that this was the first time in the whole three movies where I actually cared about Zendaya (I'm still not calling her MJ because I still think it's stupid). The effects work was of course phenomenal with some awesome and creative fight scenes, although at times I kept confusing Tobey and Andrew together since both their costumes looked the same, especially at far away distances, while Tom's was more easily identifiable. With that out of the way, let's get to my problems with the movie. You know how at the end of the last movie where Mysterio framed Peter for his death and for the drone attack? Well it never gets resolved in this one. They don't come up with a way to clear his name or reveal that Mysterio was a fraud, hell they could have had Doctor Strange use his magic to reveal the truth even without the Time Stone or having to erase everyone's memory of Peter. Nope, half of New York still hates Spidey thinking he's a murderer, thanks in part to J. Jonah Jameson. I guess this is supposed to be a commentary on how people can turn on celebrities for even the smallest of reasons, but I guess being accused of murder is still a pretty big deal. So yeah, even though he's dead, Mysterio still gets away with ruining Peter's life. Speaking of Jameson, they really assassinated his character in this movie. In the Raimi Spider-Man trilogy he was a pompous blowhard who villainized Spidey in order to sell papers, but he still had some decency and was funny. Here he's an unrepentant media bully who is neither decent nor funny, and Tobey's Spidey never mentions how this Jameson looks exactly like his Jameson so there's an unforgivable missed opportunity. As for the ending, it didn't make me mad like in the last movie, but it was a complete bummer. In order to stop the universe from falling apart, Doctor Strange ends up having to erase everyone's memories of Peter Parker, which I understand, but it ends with him losing his friends and girlfriend forever because, well, they don't remember him. I was hoping that in the end Zendaya, Ned, and Happy would regain their memories, or at the very least they show some signs of remembering Peter deep down inside, but no. Peter is now all alone with nobody to be with, just himself continuing to be Spider-Man. Sheesh, that's a bigger downer than the ending to Amazing Spider-Man 2. And what does the ending actually mean, that there's going to be no more MCU Spider-Man movies, nor is he ever going to pop up in any other MCU movies? I have no idea, maybe he will since Spidey is a huge cash cow, but it's still a crummy way to end something that once started out so light hearted. And I was right how Tom Hardy's Venom did end up in the MCU...for a brief cameo during the end credits...WHAT A WASTE!!! Overall No Way Home is a great movie and a huge improvement over Far From Home, but it just wasn't my cup of tea, and I don't even like tea. Hopefully Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be better.

Al een tijdje aan het wachten tot hij beschikbaar is op Blu-ray maar hij komt maar niet uit. Toch maar beslist om hem aan te kopen in een andere taal. Bij deze de Duitse uitvoering. Het is enkel de cover van de Blu-ray dat in het Duits is. Op de film zelf zijn meerder talen beschikbaar zoals gesproken in het Engels en Nederlandse ondertiteling. Dus tevreden met mijn aankoop. De film zelf zal ik een 8/10 geven. Ik ben dan ook een Marvel en spidey fan :-p

Ich fand den Film einfach nur enttäuschend. Die Idee mit allen 3 Spidermen und all den Bösewichten auf einmal ist gut - man wartet dann gespannt darauf, wie Spiderman das löst, denn Dr. Strange hat ja trotz allem nen guten Plan... und dann verwandelt sich der Streifen in genauso einen schwachsinnigen Gutmenschen-Schrott, der täglich im TV zu sehen ist 🙈. Echt jetzt? Die Bösen werden jetzt 'geheilt'...? Danke auch, da brauch ich keinen Marvel Film dazu, da kann ich auch die Nachrichten einschalten. Furchtbar!
Wenn man den Film z.B. mit den ersten beiden Avengers-Filmen vergleicht, die einfach nur mega sind, dann kann man nur den Kopf schütteln bei dieser Entwicklung.

Und was soll das mit Tante May...? Endet jetzt jeder sympathische Charakter nach und nach so...? Das gab mir zumindest den Rest. Ich war am Ende traurig, deprimiert und enttäuscht. Am Ende des Films hatte ich genau dasselbe Gefühl wie nach Endgame. Ich hasse es, wenn Marvel-Filme SO verlaufen bzw. enden. Ich will Action-Fantasy und kein Drama.

Ich habe den Film jedenfalls verschenkt, denn noch einmal werde ich mir diesen Unsinn sicher nicht antun.

Eines muss ich vorweg schreiben: Es ist nicht nur sehr wichtig den direkten Vorgänger zu kennen, sondern man sollte nicht nur erstens ein Fan des MCU (Marvel-Cinematic-Universe) sein, sondern zweitens überhaupt die Marvelverfilmungen der letzten zwanzig Jahre gesehen haben, um diesen Film hier richtig genießen zu können.
Die vielen Anspielungen, Querverweise, wieder eingesetzte Darsteller und die damit verbundene(n) Handlungsrichtung(en) kann man nur erkennen und verstehen, wenn man zumindest die Filme rund um Spiderman der letzten Jahrzehnte kennt.
Der Zuschauer bekommt hier eine geradezu geniale symbiotische Verzahnung des Spiderman-Multiversums präsentiert, die man wirklich nur richtig erfassen kann, wenn man sich mit diesem Thema auskennt!
(Ob reines Auskennen der Comics reicht, kann ich nicht beurteilen.)

Da alles so verzahnt ist, fällt es mir sehr schwer nicht zu spoilern, aber soviel sei zur Handlung schon mal erzählt:
Nach Ende des Vorgängers (Spiderman: Far from home) ist die Identität von Peter Parker (Tom Holland) als Spiderman bekannt.
Nachdem Spiderman den Schurken Quetin Beck als Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) besiegt - und dieser kurz vor seinem Tod noch die Identität Spidermans enthüllt hat, werden Peter und seine Freunde von der Bevölkerung sowohl als Held gefeiert als auch als Mörder geächtet. Das hat natürlich somit auch gesellschaftliche Folgen. So werden Collegebewerbungen abgelehnt, die Behörden schalten sich bezüglich der Selbstjustiz ein und überhaupt droht das Leben der Freunde gehörig aus dem Ruder zu laufen.
Damit das ein Ende hat, bittet Peter seinen Avengers-Kollegen Dr. Steven Strange (Bendict Cumberbatch) um Hilfe. Und Dr. Strange hat auch schon eine Idee: Peters Existenz müsste aus dem Gedächtnis aller Menschen gelöscht werden.
Bei der Durchführung des Plans geht jedoch so einiges schief und das hat weitreichende Folgen...

Der Film „Spiderman: No way home“, aus dem Jahr 2021, unter der Regie von Jon Watts, der auch schon die direkten Vorgänger gedreht hat, ist eine sehr gelungene Comic-Verfilmung, bei der ich nicht weiß, ob es diese Geschichte tatsächlich auch als Comicvorlage existiert. Ich für meinen Teil gehe aber davon aus, dass die Story hier eigens für diesen Film geschrieben wurde.
Der typische Marvel-Humor kommt auch hier wieder zum Einsatz. Es gab wirklich Stellen, an denen ich kurz auf Pause gestellt habe, weil ich lachen musste, aber es ist auch ein sehr dramatischer Film, mit einigen doch heftigen, emotionalen Szenen.
Beides passt hervorragend zusammen und ich konnte es kaum fassen, dass der Film immerhin zweieinhalb Stunden Lauflänge hat, da die Zeit wie im Fluge vergeht.
Die Darsteller machen auch allesamt einen überzeugenden Job, die Spezialeffekte können sich absolut sehen lassen und der Sound und die Musik sind auch sehr gelungen.

Das Bildformat ist im 16:9-Format auf der DVD enthalten und DVD-typisch scharf.

Fazit: Man kann sich „Spiderman: No way home“ zwar ohne Vorkenntnisse ansehen und er kann so auch überzeugen, aber wirklich mitgehen kann der Zuschauer meiner Meinung nach nur, wenn er nicht nur die Vorgänger kennt, sondern sich rund um die Spiderman-Filme auskennt. Die Spezialeffekte können sich sehen lassen, ohne omnipräsent den Film zu bestimmen oder die Handlung ins Abseits zu verdrängen, die Schauspieler -allen voran Tom Holland – geben eine überzeugende Performance ab und Sound/Musik können sich auch hören lassen.

Für mich hat sich der Kauf auf jeden Fall gelohnt!

"Spider Man - No way home" war der umsatzstärkste Filme des Jahres 2021. Er spielte weltweit rund 1,9 Milliarden Dollar ein und landete mit diesem fulminanten Kassenumsatz prompt in den Top 10 der erfolgreichsten Blockbuster aller zeiten und dies trotz der immer noch starken Auswirkungen für das Kino durch die Covid-19 Pandemie. Damit hat Spiderman Darsteller Tom Holland seine beiden Vorgänger Tobey Maguire und Andrew Garfield zweifelsohne in der Gunst des Publikums überrundet. Es ist jedoch sehr erfreulich, dass "No Way Home" das gesamte Trio in die Hanldung des Films eingebaut hat. Regisseur des Films ist Jon Watts, der nach seinem Horrorfilm "Clown" alle drei Spider Man Filme mit Tom Holland inszenierte.
Die Geschichte knüpft natürlcih an den Vorgänger "Far from home" an.

Spider-Mans Identität wurde enthüllt und nun weiß jeder, dass Peter Parker (Tom Holland) der Superheld ist. Doch durch Journalisten wie J. Jonah Jameson (J. K. Simpson) wird sein Image mehr und mehr beschädigt und viele Menschen glauben inzwischen, dass sein Auftauchen eher Chaos und Zerstörung bedeutet. Sein Image ist beschädigt und auch Peters Freundin MJ (Zendaya) sowie sein bester Freund Ned Leeds (Jacob Batalon) sind von dieser negativen Publicity betroffen. Das Trio hat sich an der Technischen Universität in Cambridge, Massachuetts beworben, aber alle drei haben eine Absage bekommen. Um dies zu ändern, sucht Peter Dr. Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) auf. Er soll einen Zauber entfachen, der Peter und die ganze Welt vergessen lässt, dass er Spider Man ist. Der Zauber geht aber aufgrund Peters Zaudern schief. Als Resultat tauchen Schurken wie Dr. Otto Octavius (Alfred Molina), der grüne Kobold alias Norman Osborn (Willem Dafoe), Electro (Jamie Foxx), der Sandman (Thomas Haden Church), die Echse alias Dr. Curd Connors (Rhys Ifans) aus alternativen Universen auf. Immerhin können die Schurken aus anderen Welten dingfest gemacht werden und Dr. Strange bereitet alles vor die unerwünschten Gäste wieder in ihre Heimatuniversen zurückzubringen. Ein gefährliches Unterfangen, denn die Wesen könnten dabei sterben. Dies gefällt Peter nicht und er kann dies nicht mit seinem Gewissen vereinbaren. Er verhindert die Idee von Dr. Strange und bringt die fünf Schurken in Happys (Jon Favreau) Wohnung unter, der mit Tante May (Marisa Tomei) liiert ist. Doch er hat nicht damit gerechnet, dass der grüne Kobold wieder in Norman Osborns Gedanken die Herrschaft übernimmt...

Es folgt das übliche Comic-Szenario, die man aus beinahe allen Marvel Filmen kennt. Doch überraschend bereichern die beiden vorherigen Spider Männer (Tobey Maguire und Andrew Garfield) die Geschichte und damit ist Tom Holland nicht mehr allein. Drei Spiders müssen ja auch reichen, um einmal mehr die Welt zu retten. Das Ende schreit förmlich nach einer Fortsetzung. Bei diesem phänomenalen Einspielergebnis ist das natürlich auch ein Muss.
