I don't know if this story is accurate or not, but I actually enjoyed it. I'm not a hardcore Menudo fan, but I lived in Panama as a kid during their "Golden Years." My favorite was Xavier. If you can get past the horrible wigs and miscasting for most of the characters besides Ricky Martin and also the mom and daughter side story, it's not that bad. I'm not sure who's point of view this is, but I don't believe it's from Menudo's side.

As a diehard Menudo fan I was looking forward to the series to relive my best teenage memories. The casting is horrible and not even similar to original members. The dancing, singing and wigs look awful and weird. Some of the Songs chosen were in the incorrect year. 20% of the series has truth and the rest.. well it’s fiction. I really wanted to love it but I was left disappointed due to the inaccurate portrayals of menudo members.

Let’s start on how they choose kids who didn’t know how to dance, didn’t look like the original people and had wigs on!!! Do better casting people! Next, not enough music! And the music that they played was in the wrong area! Ricky martin didn’t sign súbete a mi moto!!! And don’t get me started on Joselo!!! Please he is the first one to usher you out from the Ricky Martin Meet and greets! I doubt that he was that nice with the fans as he is not nice with the RM fans today. The only thing was seeing Braulio Castillo hijo and he did awesome….don’t waste your time…

For what i know and seen this series its all wrong, the kids looks like abimated cartoons, Nexflix Rene looks like beetlejuice, the standing order is all wrong, and ricky who was the smallest in netflix he its on steroids lol.. this definetly doesnt even have the essence of a documentary. Nope

Me encanto la serie apta para menores y adultos. Vean esta seria con su familia. Me gusto para saber como se mueve esta industria de la musica. Perfecto que no hay pornografia, desnudos ni otras cosas no aptas. Esta serie se personifica muy bien a los caracteres, musica, escenografia, y libreto. Soy fan de Menudo definitivamente me encanto.

I wasn't a fan of the group. But I enjoyed this series. I think I started taking notice of the group when Ricky Martin came into the group and they were shown on American Teeny Bopper mags. Anyway. Great series.
