update 12/24went to range today lol 2nd one even worst turned off by itself every the next minute.Update : just got a new unit Glue on the glass window looks better lets see how it hold zero how reliableWITH TAX AROUND $90 THIS IS WHAT YOU GET? BAD GLUE ON THE GLASS ITSELF.AND THERE IS BIG OPENING WHAT YOU CAN EVEN SEE THE RED WIRE FROM THE INSIDE.SO THIS WILL NOT BE DUST, SAND, WATER RESISTANT AT ALL. ALSO THE BATTERY IS SO HARD TO PULL OUTTHERE IS A CLEAR SPACER THING ON THE BATTERY BEFORE YOU INSTALL YOU HAVE TO PULL IT OUT.BAD BAD BAD QUALITY MAYBE FOR AIR BB GUN

I bought this sight and installed it on my TX22 Comp with no issues. I used a little loctite 243 to secure the screws. After "zeroed in" I shot about 1,000 rounds (5 trips to the range) and it's holding "zero" great. At 10 yards I can put 15 rounds in a group the size of a golf ball. I'm very happy with this purchase especially at this price. I assume the battery will last as claimed in the listing and gave this item 5 stars across the board.

Light weight and inexpensive. I'm using it on a 10.5" carbine with a carry handle. Perfectly suited for that use. Buy. Lightweight and affordable. Buy one to mount on a variable mounted scope. It's a great close in sight! Buy it!

It won’t hold zero for a day. If you’re just going to the range once every few weeks its probably not a big deal, it only takes a few sec to zero, but i wouldn’t put it on anything i would use for defense.

Bought for my Ruger Max 9. Searching on Amazon brought this up. Searching specifically for this gun and it was wrong. Will not fit a Max 9. Site said 1 1\2 inch. It is 1\4 in off from slotting into optics notch.
P.s. Was able to return with no issues. I do recommend the Seller if not the product.

Keep perspective on this one. For its price point, the red dot 🔴 is sufficiently bright enough for the sunniest of days. My one minor gripe is the brightness up and down buttons need to be a tad bit more pronounced from a tactile standpoint.

IDK why so many bad reviews on this Tasco mine came perfect in box mounted easily and holds zero recommended to anyone looking for a good little range optic

The media could not be loaded.

 I got this item from Amazon used, which is why I didn't rate it lower. I ordered the item in "very good" condition and received the RDS with a cracked lens which increased with every magazine (I only shoot 5 rounds at a time). Upon further inspection I noticed the diode was offset contributing to a useless sight. This overall was a complete bummer and I won't return the item as it will serve as a $59 lesson in quality as well as a fear of refurbishment and redistribution. This quality assurance oversight will not be used again.
